The location was ok. I have a problem with this booking both from the platform and with the property.
We booked via Booking.com. On arrival we informed by the man at the desk that he could not find my booking. I showed him my pre-paid confirmation and I had been in contact with them about parking via the app. He advised “there was nothing he could” do and sent me away to contact booking. I spent 45 minutes on hold and was eventually advised by booking that all they could do was send an email and if no response then come back to us by email not a phone call. This presupposes I have connectivity while traveling. While on hold my husband - a hospitality expert and a lecturer at Glion identified the shift manager who eventually downloaded the reservation and checked us in an hour later. Very inconvenient to our plans for the day. She was the only bright spot. The room was very noisy and the house keeping sloppy not up to standard for the Brand on offer. The manager did not accept personal feedback about his staff needing training on managing confirmed reservations. This was made my problem when it is obviously a communication issue between Booking and the Property. I should have been accommodated and not sent away. He tried to blame booking. Despite the booking eventually being honoured I am now being emailed (I eventually found WIFi) by the platform 2 days later advising they still cannot contact the property and want to issue a refund as to their mind I obviously went elsewhere. I had to rush off to an event after getting to my room and did not check my emails until two day later. The emails I have been sent are from a no-reply email address so I can’t even advise them of developments without incurring time and money calling them.
Poor service all around it is a shame because only one person seemed to know how to treat guests as a guest and not a problem.
Nothing
Overpriced
Nothing. It needs a renovation
It was dated all around. Worst of all it is located right beside train tracks and EVERY SINGLE train passing by honks multiple times at it passes crossings that are just a few yards away. The windows don’t seal well enough to insulate from this noise, so sleeping after 5/6 am is very difficult. The hotel offers ear plugs as a ‘convenience’ - it’s not convenient!
Staff was superb
Room was a bit used and in need of refreshed
The property was convenient for my work visit.
Out of 11 nights, few days were crowded but well managed.
The night on june 27-28th Due to delayed flight my check in was late abd only to know our room was sold!! That was a nightmare as at 4:30am we were given room 408( door broken), then shifted tp 605( no cooling at all).. hauling big bags on broken bell carts all the way to 408 then 605!!
Later on june 28th a lady staff gave us a room which too had broken door so finally 413 whoch was nice. In all this I hurt my back and on psinkillers since!! After a 15 hr long jpurney from west to east coast and the time difference this was a total bad checkin experience. Have reported to booking.com already.
Marcel the manager and one lady staff are the only best employees there.
Location, room size, breakfast, and 3pm or earlier check in time. If you line swimming pool …
Train noise from 6;30am and price slightly on high side.
It is conveniently located, comfortable and clean.
It’s a little worn and the pool is chilly.
Ok
Basketball goal has been broken for several years
Very well kept and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a variety of choice and was extremely well maintained and clean.
The outdoor court was a perfect idea for travellers with children!
N:a
We paid and reserved through booking.com and they could not find the reservation.
The motel is next to train tracks. Trains roar by during the night and toot their horns. The motel gives out early plugs!! But, doesn’t help. Bad location!!!!!
Location
Dirty. Poorly maintained
I didn't eat the breakfast. Loved having a kitchen. Greatly appreciated a dishwasher. Clean!
Greatly disappointed that I could not access the washing machine. I am unable to use apps. So I was unable to wash my clothes. Great disappointment
