There wasn't too much that my 13-year-old son and I liked about this hotel. I suppose that the beds were comfortable, and the main room was mostly clean.
Sketchy area. Run down. It sits in a small commercial park off the main highway but that park is really shabby. The frontage roads and side streets are in bad shape, grass and weeds growing everywhere.
The hotel and parking long is in desperate need of a makeover. It looks fairly run down - not necessarily dirty, thankfully - but just way behind the times as if Quality Inn has utterly disregarded it.
Our bathroom, which was part of handicap room (I don't recall asking for that when I reserved the hotel), was pretty atrocious; dingy, the shower area was pretty filthy, and it reminded me of a college dorm bathroom.
I could go on, but the worst part was that a fire alarm went off around midnight. Both myself and my 13-year-old son were jarred awake, and as all patrons did, we exited the hotel. There was no fire. But it was really disruptive.
My son and I awoke at 6am and we were gone by 7am. Not because we had to, but because we'd had enough of that pit.
And for $200+? That's absolutely disgraceful.
Buyer BEWARE.
Rooms were not kept clean and was questionable if they cleaned after the last guest
Very nice staff. Clean, comfortable room. Easy to get to the location. Close proximity to the Cracker Barrel restaurant was very handy.
Shortly after we arrived, there was consistent, disturbing, loud sounds like someone jumping or stamping their feet in the area directly above our room (Rm 133). It was loud enough, and so regular that we couldn't watch TV without turning the volume so high we felt we were interfering with the guests in the next room. Sadly, my wife couldn't sleep for the intensity of the sounds that persisted well into the early morning. We were staying at this location because we had a funeral for a close family member at 10 am. the next morning, just a few miles from the motel.
Cleaning all the trash out of the parking lot and glass bottles and parking spots. Covers on outlets would be nice. Our room should be what we paid for and what was in the pictures. The guy at the front desk said they didn’t even have any rooms to accommodate what we booked. The fridge was dirty and it smelled like paint. Black stains on carpet carpets leading to the room were gross There was also black mold behind the door in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder that was supposed to be mounted into the side of the bathroom sink would fall out every time you try to get toilet paper out of it. terrible.
You have to pay for Wi-Fi
It was available
The room key deactivated every single night. The tub was hard to operate.. the room was smelly
The over all experience was great. We only stayed one night so for a place to just sleep for the night it was decent.
They guy who checked us in screwed up our room number so when they did late night room checks we were woken up at 11:30pm and had to validate our booking all over again.

Fit my needs
Fit my needs
close to where we needed to be on tuesday at 6:00 am
first room didn't have water in the toilet had to switch rooms. 2 room they had to come in and fix the tv someone unplugged it. the shower on mo day night was cold took forever to get it hot!
Location was convenient
Property was not clean. Our socks were dirty from walking on the tile floors. We had ants in our room that ended up in the beds. Relatives were also staying and they also had ants. We moved out of the room that had the most ants. I did not see ants in that room but when we got from eating that evening, the room smelled like pee including the air coming from the air conditioner. Some of the kitchen staff was dressed in what looked like lounge wear. Breakfast food was not very good. Gravy was thin. Biscuits were premade and yogurt appeared to be frozen then thawed so it was clumpy.
Breakfast could have been better
Eggs gravy and biscuits toast
Friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, comfy beds, laminated floors in the rooms.
Skimpy breakfast, dusty/musty old carpets in common areas, super dirty elevators and a couch that needs to trashed in the common area on the 3rd floor.
Ups: the staff is friendly and accommodating. Is in a good location, the rooms are clean, bed comfortable, laminate flooring.
Downs: the breakfast is skimpy ( cereal, yogurt, toast, waffles, biscuits and gravy, nothing else), the carpeted areas and in need of replacing or deep cleaning because those areas have a dusty/musty smell, there is a couch on the 3rd floor common area that needs to be trashed. The elevator needs a good cleaning.
