Fabrize has always been so helpful and welcoming, along with his team/colleagues. The Legends staff are always so nice and welcoming too. They all are part of the reason I return every time.
This Marriot hotel is one of our favorites. Absolutely love the indoor pool & hot tub. Whether you want to relax or here on business. You'll enjoy. The food is good. The staff is great. I would like to highlight the efforts put into making sure I had connecting rooms. Tyrah, Marty, Seasia, and Miya make sure our stay was superb. Can not forget Tiffany she was very pleasant. She was going around making sure all the guest had everything they need.
Marlanea so wonderful! I had a slight problem with my room and she went above the call of duty and helped. She was so kind and helpful. She was wonderful. Appreciated her help!
Joel was very helpful getting me into the pool area when I couldn’t figure it out. He was very helpful and kind.
Absolutely amazing experience. Staff were the nicest I’ve ever encountered. Sharif was especially wonderful.
My mother and needed a room quickly because of a plumbing disaster in our home. Floyd Kadine and Tyrah Alisca were on duty at the hotel, couldn't have been nicer, and quickly got us squared away.
I don't like there's no free coffee or breakfast. My room was $300 and is always pricey compared to others but my co-workers always want to stay here.
Edges of the room were dirty--not that they needed to be cleaned but that they needed to be painted or replaced.
The facility a nice surprise for us. It was more than we expected for the price. The included breakfast was in the sports lounge and was a lovely buffet and accompanied by a full staff
The only issue was that we chose the “handicapped “ room. It probably wasn’t ADA compliant. It did have grab bars though. But only a slippery tub.
Had an amazing time very comfortable and clean. Made us as guest feel was very attended too. Thanks for a welcome visit love it here
It was flooding and fire in the hotel. We had to evacuate and live the hotel and looking for another hotel middle of the night, at 1 am.
We booked a weekend stay here because we had a funeral on Saturday 6/27. We checked in on Friday 6/26. Shortly after the hotel had to be evacuating due to a major flood. We stood outside for about 2 hours while firefighters addressed the situation. Eventually, the hotel was deemed uninhabitable. Most of that is outside of Marriott control, so we can’t really hold that against them.
However, once we were cleared to go in and get our stuff from our rooms, management essentially threw us to the wolves. They didn’t find us rooms at nearby hotels at same rate or give us vouchers or offer to pay for the nights it was uninhabitable for something that wasn’t our fault. They just told us we have to go find another hotel while competing with hundreds of other people at 10 at night.
We eventually found a room at a nearby residence inn which is also owned by Marriott. They, nor we, could get in touch with the original Marriott Friday or Saturday to transfer us at same rate. We had to pay for that room out of pocket so now we’re paying for 2 rooms. Saturday morning and afternoon were spent trying to figure out if we had to go back to the original hotel since that was what was in the system and we didn’t want to pay 2 nights at 2 hotels and be left holding the bag. Phones were not being answered and we had to have a place to come back to, so we were forced to pay for 2 rooms for a second night.
It’s still not resolved. Nor have they reached out. Customer support is not able to fix the issue because they don’t know how and are not empowered to do so.
Nice hotel but if something goes wrong, don’t plan on management or corporate addressing the issue quickly or correctly. Stay here at your own risk. Heaven forbid you have a wedding party stay here and something goes wrong. Your entire wedding would quickly turn into a nightmare.
My guess is they want everyone to roll over, capitulate to frustration, and eat the cost to save what I’m guessing is costing them around $50k in losses on guest stays. There’s obviously other losses but I’m sure insurance handles most of that. If you have an event like a kids sports tournament, funeral, wedding, or conference that requires reliability stay here at your own risk.
We had a great experience at this hotel for our stay during our daughter’s wedding. From front desk (Sharif) to booking room block (Kadine and Tiffany), to booking after-party and breakfast (Wes, Se’Asia and Nicole) everyone was helpful and communicative and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. Thanks to all!
Tyrah was awesome! She's very attentive and made our stay very convenient and accommodating. Although I called her many times for little things, she was very patient and helpful.
D’Asia was most helpful with all requests!
Marlene was great! Kind, Knowledgeable and professional Ahe was so helpful and made us feel at home!
Sharif Floyd at the front desk of Marriott Philadelphia West provided exceptional customer service from the moment I arrived. I was greeted immediately with a warm smile, and the check-in process was seamless, quick, and efficient. Sharif was attentive to all of my needs and went above and beyond by providing directions to places I planned to visit in Philadelphia, along with great dining recommendations. He also gave a thorough overview of the hotel and its amenities, making me feel welcomed and well informed. His professionalism, friendliness, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. I will definitely return and look forward to staying here again.
We were there for an ice skating competition 1 night only. Floyd and Tyrah were simply the best ! They answered all my questions , engaged in friendly conversation and even gave us yummy cookies which were much needed after a long drive. When checking in to a hotel, It is nice to be greeted by friendly humans who actually enjoy their jobs . We will definitely be back next year during comp season.
Upon check in we met Floyd who was amazing kind ,courteous and professional. He started our stay here on the right foot. Great customer service!!
