Brilliant stay at White Horse Farm
Pros:

Gorgeous views from this hotel. A clean and comfortable room with a comfy bed. The food on the evening was lovely… Wednesday night special was a large pizza and a pint for £13 which was delicious. We enjoyed a lovely self service buffet style breakfast. The staff were very friendly and put the England World Cup game on the TV for us.

Cons:

Nothing

Lovely building in a beautiful location and we will be back
Pros:

Love, love, love the location!
Room was spotlessly clean and well presented.
Parking is very easy.
Pub garden with view is gorgeous.
Food is basic pub grub but perfectly acceptable and tasty.
Beer is good.

Cons:

Parts of the building look a little tired and there are small details like curtains not properly hung and one window that didn’t open at all which need attention.

Staff need better training! The girl that checked us in just handed us a key, told us where our room was and recited a list of information with no engagement whatsoever and no attempt to show us to our room. The girl working the bar was also doing the waitressing and this really didn’t work well! Customers were kept waiting too long and I ended up collecting my own beer from behind the bar because she had clearly forgotten me! They are only young girls but there didn’t appear to be an older staff member on site and the girls need better training. It is not their fault; it is a lack of attention from the management.

Fabulous views and a truly wonderful relaxing Inn on the North Yorkshire Moors. A gem of a place
Pros:

When we arrived and pulled into the car park we were shocked at the breath taking view before our eyes. It was incredible and totally unexpected.
We booked this hotel last minute online and we were not disappointed.
The barman was lovely when we arrived.
Our room was spotless.
The bed was comfortable and we had the most peaceful relaxing stay.
We will definitely be staying here again.

Cons:

There wasn’t much to not like.
The only thing I could pick fault with the Inn itself looked a little tired on the outside and could do with a little clean up and a lick of paint. But it is a listed building from the 1500’s.
Also a small corner of the duvet cover had become unstitched and needing mending. These are only minor things.
We absolutely loved this place. We felt so relaxed from the minute we arrived.
We will be booking another stay.
We did not have breakfast so can not comment on that
