Nothing fancy but clean and convenient.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. The room was clean, The location was great for our visit to the Meijer Gardens.

Cons:

The mattress was hard and uncomfortable.

Comfy stop-over
Pros:

Easy check-in, bathroom/towels and beds were clean, good power on shower, range of food for breakfast including make your own waffles (fun for the kids!) and plenty of room for the family including a sofabed.

Cons:

The furniture & carpet was a little old. Air con was noisy. But we were all so exhausted and this was just an overnight stop-over so didn’t bother us too much. You get what you pay for and this was budget which is what we wanted.

Short walking distance to ferry
Pros:

We wanted a place close to Mackinac Island, and this was perfect. Within walking distance. Great restaurants also within walking distance.

Pros:

Good location and easy to get to the airport and amenities.
There was a reading chair.

Cons:

The hotel hallways and elevator were grunchy and needed cleaning. The room itself was ok clean but the furniture was stained and worn. The AC/heating unit was pre-programmed and set at a uncomfortable temperature. Refrigerator did not work properly

The rude morning front desk women
Pros:

The jetted tub on the 1st floor

Cons:

The front desk women was completely uncooperative and rude. They didn't have a ash tray by the door outside so we threw are butts in a cup with water and threw them away in the trash. I made they mistake of throwing them away in our room. I guess we would've been better if we threw them on the ground. I don't litter but that was a big mistake I made and they took our $100.00 dollar deposit. I was shocked! I tried to explain and she threated to call the police. She didn't even seem to hear me at all.
