It’s more of a suggestion. Since you are renovating it’s a perfect time to change your supplier for the Cuppa Cafe? We waste utensils because we can’t pick what we need. It all comes together and we don’t need all 3 utensils for a bagel. Also ordering paper containers rather than Plastic. She put a hot toasted bagel into a plastic container and I cringed at the thought of melting plastic toxins that I had to eat! Finally, If We have to pay $4 for a bagel with butter they should at least BUTTER it for you. They give you cold, almost frozen, butter to spread using a tiny, plastic knife which takes forever.
El ambiente me gusto
No hay in desayuno incluido para los huespedes
We arrived on a Tuesday and it was raining real hard.we have never been here before ,so we were looking for the hotel entrance. We could not find ir. We thought it would be a separate entrance. we are handicapped and can't walk to well. My husband parked the car by the entrance and went in to get help.security told me to move my car.I explained to him what was going on.finally got some help. This is a horrible way of getting in to the hotel part, should have separate entrance. Very bad for handicapped people.my husband fell by the front door. He had his cane and it got stuck in a crack on the pavement, and he fell down hard on his head.security came running out to help him. They told him we should call a ambulance. They did not offer. Got his name and didn't ask what room we were staying in.I am so upset with this whole mess, we will never come back. Terrible inconvenience for handicapped people.they need to do a lotof changes to make it more safe!! The room was very far to walk and no coffee machine , no hair dryer. Most hotels less expensive carry these items .very disappointed!!!!!! We are stuck here for 5 days. They took out 500. Dollars on hold till we check out .outrageous!!!
The food availability, the bed was very comfortable
One Elevator working and it was very slow.
room was very spacious and comfortable.
staff at front desk were very rude. I stood alone waiting to check in and it was as if i was invisible. Not the way I would treat the clientele.
Went on a rainy day. Parking was easy no need to valet. Its only slots. Nice bar, friendly bartender and good drinks. Expansion underway. A few sketchy characters in the casino. Overall its a clean nice place just always be aware of your surroundings.
Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room.
Wish we had known about the breakfast. We were not able to adjust the room temperature, no matter what we set the thermostat at it still stayed around the same temperature, which was a little too cold for us. Also, the shower head was not great, it could have had more water pressure and not such a wide spray pattern, it took a long time to rinse shampoo out of our hair.
Atmosphere and staff.
Paid 300 dollars for a night. The room still had the same furniture as it did when it was the Islandia Marriott. Ripping up old bumpy carpets and leaving everything else is not upgrading. The television stopped working around midnight so listened to music on my tablet. Bed was horrible. If not for the wonderful staff wouldn’t even have given a star.
Horrible
It’s easy to get around & smaller, However Every Holiday thatI decide to go only one of their two elevators is working when it’s very crowded !Both are usually working on regular days ! There Bistro restaurant is nice and food comes out fast & is good& good cocktails ! The waiter & waitresses are friendly, so I always feel at home & have gotten to know my favorite 2, that give Great service ! That staff is great Very accommodating almost all of them, so much so I’ve written letters of accommodation to their Superiors, those staff, I find exceptional . The Managerial staff are also pleasant & accomodating if feasible ! Everyone is very courteous, friendly & helpful & some go out of their way to help. I stay in a handicapped accessible room , which is nice & nice large bathrooms with walk-in showers or if you prefer a tub , they have both type rooms for handicapped . I stayed an extra night to relax so I stayed 2 nights not the one as planned . Staff really helped to have me stay in same room & handled everything , new keys etc. As I am handicapped that was so appreciated ! I enjoyed food & on floor of casino, I’ve found & bonded with one hard working waitress for drinks, soda or cocktails & found they even have food brought to where your playing ! I didnot know or have this but saw nearby patron enjoy a frank ! I only go a few times a year & enjoy the close locality for me instead of going to N.J.Shore !
One elevator issue for some reason happens on holidays when it’s busiest !?! The halls are basically quiet but I had Donot disturb on my door after just checking in & housekeeping frightened me twice as if they were going to break down the door ! They really should know who has just checked in or due to check out !? Especially not abrasive to a handicapped room on 9 th floor. Front desk had to bring me the amenities, housekeeping did not put in room . Overall, it’s a nice stay regardless Thanks to front desk & food staff ! standing out !
I liked where my room was. I liked how convenient it was from my house. And I liked the way it’s set up.
I didn’t like the fact that there was only one elevator. When I first arrived in the room, it was a little warm. I think that’s something they should’ve taken care of before I arrived. But the staff was so kind and courteous. And they sent maintenance up right away and they took care of the situation.
