Disappointed in the bad mattress
Pros:

The location is good and away from the freeway. The hot tub and pool were clean and nice to soak in the hot tub either inside or outside.

Cons:

We had one of the last rooms available with a king size bed and it was an ADA room although we don’t need any handicap accommodation. This was the absolute worst bed we have slept on! The bed sunk, the springs were shot and the springs were squeaky. This mattress was so worn it reminded me of the bed at my friend’s cabin because kids have jumped on the bed too much. This was such a disappointment from my past experiences at Hilton Garden Inns. I remember the days when Hilton took pride in their mattresses and bedding and you could specialty order them from their catalog so you could have a great comfortable bed from their collection at home! I mentioned our disappointment to the hotel staff when checking out and all I got was he was sorry but he couldn’t care less and I would bet that crappy mattress is still in that room.

Friendliness of the staff and the accommodations were great. Breakfast variety was exceptional.

Cons:

Asked for room to be cleaned after 2nd night of stay, but felt that they just rushed the job. No new cups provided and some garbage that was by one of the beds when we left that morning was still there. Our fitted sheet was slipping off and that wasn't fixed while we were out.

Cons:

We had a reservation for four people. When we got ready to shower in the morning, we discovered there were only enough towels for three people. We went to the front desk and were told that additional towels wouldn’t be available until housekeeping came in - 1 hour later after we needed to be on our way.

Also, there was a youth sporting tournament in the Dells and the hotel was noisy and the pool / hot tub were full of kids.

Pros:

Easy access to the Dells attractions if you are interested, but much better rates. Clean, parking was ample and free, check in and out were easy and fast. Microwave and fridge in our room, which is becoming more rare! Room was clean.

Cons:

Honestly, it seems petty, but the TV station choices were lacking.

It was okay.

Upon arriving, staff was off to the side chatting with each other. I did wait for about five minutes until the GSR came up to the front desk. All interactions were a bit awkward, no one was friendly.

It's always a pleasure staying at The Hilton, and we will be back!!
Pros:

We choose Hilton because we're assured of a quality experience. From the professional appearance of the reception admin staff to the housekeepers to the rooms themselves. "Hilton" equals a 5 star stay! ALSO... The unexpected free breakfast voucher (which I didn't use) was a lovely surprise!

Cons:

A few spots on walls were very visible near the patio doors and in the bathroom. This makes people wonder "what else" may not be cleaned to high standards? ALSO... The TV message "Welcome, Kurt Mathew Miller" was a little shocking, since Kurt passed away in 2024. After a minute or two, it made me smile. Guess after 45 years of marriage, he's still with me! LASTLY... The patio was full of debris. I enjoy sitting outside and reading - another reason for choosing Hilton. It's a lovely setting.
