All good very clean and well though out with lay out of room s good value nice warm rooms good central location
only thing lots of stairs but then it’s a 200 year old building so can understand it would be difficult to fit a lift fitted
Great location, clean and nice rooms
Very noisy, the windows aren’t double glazed so we were awake all night. If you are going out and drinking then it’s perfect

Our stay at The Mitre Hotel was extremely disappointing.
The first and biggest issue was the water in the room. There was almost no water pressure, and getting hot water was nearly impossible. When I complained at reception, I was told that a plumber would fix it, and then I was seriously asked whether I had waited 20 minutes for the hot water because the building is supposedly 200 years old. Honestly, that was shocking. Of course I waited — but in what century are we living where guests are expected to wait 20 minutes just to shower in a hotel?
The room itself looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com. Not even close. The bathroom was old, very small, worn out, and unattractive, while the pictures online make everything look modern, clean, and nicely designed. The entire hotel looks completely different in reality.
Another thing that is very misleading is that Booking.com does not show the hallways or staircases at all. There is not a single realistic photo of these areas. The stair railings were sticky and old, the carpets were torn and heavily worn out, and overall the hotel felt neglected and poorly maintained.
The only area that looked somewhat similar to the photos was the small bar and restaurant near the entrance. However, even there, it felt like the online pictures had been heavily edited with filters to make everything appear newer and more attractive than it actually is. In reality, everything is old and far from what is advertised online.
What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. My husband injured his leg and could barely walk for three days, so leaving the hotel earlier on the check-out day was extremely difficult for him. I politely asked if we could have a late check-out for just an hour or two because our flight was late in the evening. They agreed, but we still had to pay extra for it.
Sijainti on hyvä.
Location was great
Awful smell in room. Not fully cleaned tissue and mess left on shelving
Location was good. Staff friendly and very helpful.
seful base for Ethiad visit.
Shower was underpowered and difficult to obtain a comfortable temperature. Rather expensive but understandable for a city centre hotel at weekend.
Great, central location.
Very clean and nice-smelling room.
The room had a smart TV.
Bed was so narrow, I felt like I was going to fall off.
For the price, the room felt very claustrophobic.
Disappointed that I wasn’t allowed to pay for a late checkout. Maybe they could be more upfront about that.
