Good hotel, friendly staff and excellent location.
Pros:

Large room, with excellent kitchen. Great location, MRT nearby. Short walk to China Town and Marina Bay.

Cons:

Better lighting, and more power points needed.

A delight
Pros:

Location is amazing. A short stroll to Marina Bay and 4 mins max walk to La Pau Sat Market... Perfect for delicious food at a great price. Thr vibrant atmosphere is free. Also maybe the cheapest cold beer in town... Back to the hotel review... Our suite was huge. At first i thought too big, but we soon got used to it and found it a welcoming base to return to, very comfortable & very relaxing with great facilities & view. Room 1807 also had an outside terrace with seating (it is however in need of some repair). Staff were welcoming and efficient and we gained early access to our room. The bar near the lobby was inviting and offered guests complimentary drinks during happy hour.- 5-6 pm. Check the black board for details. Pool on 19th floor looked interesting, with a pleasant sundeck. There's a gym too. The hotel wifi is excellent. It does have a faded grandeur about it but dig a little deeper and its an excellent base with lovely personnel. Would recommend.

Cons:

Bedroom 1807 terrace floor boarding needs reinforcing. The landings also need a lick of paint.

Pros:

The location of the hotel was close to the marina and also Lau Pa Sat, but being in the financial district was just ok. You need to walk a ways to get to anything. If the offices are closed (weekends and holidays), the area businesses are closed too - as was the hotel bar on Good Friday.

Cons:

THE VIEW FROM OUR ROOM! Or, more precisely the lack of it. In all the years that we have traveled, in the USA and abroad, we have NEVER had a worse view!!! There aren't full windows - just 3 higher windows that faced a BRICK WALL from the building next door.It made the room dark all the time. We couldn't tell if it was sunny, raining, morning or night! Additionally, the only ice available was from a small table top unit on the 19th floor THAT DIDN'T WORK. To pay in excess of $300 per night for this view is unfair.

For location and gorgeous suite. Highly recommend.
Pros:

Location is fantastic. Just be aware its a ghost town on sat and sun. But easy access to busier areas. But overall location is exceptional. Having lapau sat right behind and the harbour/river right there is amazing.

Cons:

Front of house service was disappointing.. Two females lugging their own bags up those steps wasn't the arrival i expected at those prices. But great service by all other staff. Reception was great, as was housekeeping.

A great place to stay while in Singapore
Pros:

Loved staying at Ascott Raffles Place! The staff were very helpful and treated us like family. The apartment was always clean. Everyone there was so nice to us and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved Singapore and this is the best location!
Pros:

Fantastic location! There was a metro exit just outside the hotel so we rode the metro everywhere. We were also a short walk from the marina activities. The gardens and super trees are a must see. There was a wonderful collection of Botero sculptures in the gardens.
The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were so helpful. We tried the buffet breakfast once-it was good.

No complaints.

Great location, friendly (and helpful staff), but dated and tired throughout.
Pros:

Location is excellent, close to Marina Bay, the financial district and Lau Pa Sat. The swimming pool was good and generally empty, too.

Cons:

The photos are at least ten years old and the place is dated. It’s not uncomfortable but it could be cleaner and much more up to date.

Worth every penny to be central and well cared for

The pool and gym on floor 19. The amazing suite- with view of the harbour. The central location and helpful reception staff.
