Best hidden jem on Lakeshore Parkway
Pros:

Nice rooms. Nice staff. More than happy to help make your stay better any way they can.
They serve breakfast and dinner. Also have a Happy hour with drinks. All included. Only had an issue once. They bent over backwards to make it right

Great location and exceptional customer service
Pros:

This is the place to stay! I started off by booking my room at the wrong Birmingham location. I thought it was at the Lakeshore location but it was not. When we got there the manager was able to cancel the incorrect booking and get us a room. The room was very quiet, the food that is provided and drinks were all very good and service excellent. The next morning we had a great breakfast and checkout was smooth. Unfortunately, I forgot a backpack in the room. It was not until we got home 6 1/2 hours later that I realized this. I called and the manager at the time went immediately to the room and retrieved my backpack. She was able to get it boxed up and have UPS pick it up for me that afternoon. I will have it in a couple days. They have just been so excellent with their customer service. I am a Hilton Honors member, but I will sure look at the Drury properties hence forward and anytime in Birmingham, I will choose the Lakeside property.
