Staff was fantastic
Rooms were run down
It was clean, very comfortable and in a great location
Good location.
Ac did not seem to be working in the common areas. Breakfast was scarce. Front desk clerk was grumpy. We booked for a king room and she angrily told us none were available but she guessed she could put us in an king accessible suite.
We had a problem getting checked in due to computer issues a the front desk. The desk person did offer us a free drink and snack for the extra time which was appreciated. There was rust around the drain of the tub and the caulking needed rework, All over these are minor and would not prevent us from staying again.
Not any thing of concern
Location was good a lot to do shopping and dining
At 3 am our heat went out and it was negative wind chill so we froze. We were going to stay to check out but we got up early and left. When I went down to tell the clerk it took her forever to even notice we were there and when she finally talked to us we told her about the heat she questioned us like “well I’ve never heard of this” Was not the room I expected there was only a shower connected to the floor of the rest of the bathroom. (Wheelchair accessible.) the bed was really hard and not comfy.
The staff on my way in was accommodating to allow me to check in early.
Shower pressure was terrible, room was dirty, shower curtain was dirty
We went to breakfast 30 minutes before breakfast was supposed to end, by then there was very little left to choose from, but what I did have was pretty good.
The stay was fine. Building was under remodel which left the elevator out of service. Luckily I can take the stairs. But that would have been a major issue if I could not. It would be nice if Marriott could have notified visitors of the outage prior to their arrival.
I don't expect 4-5 star dinning on a continental breakfast by any stretch. But the "hot" items that were put out were not fit for consumption. I'd prefer you lower room rates and forego the bad food.
It was adequate
Pillows to mushy
I have been with Marriott a long time and have never had issues. The customer service has always been stellar! I arrived early for a check in early and yes I know they have a check in of 3pm, but a majority of the time they have always accommodated me if they had rooms available. They would always at least checked. This lady didn’t even check. I walked in and asked if I could check in and she looked at me and said “you can’t check in till 3pm” I was like ok, but usually they wouldn’t let me if there were no rooms available. This woman didn’t even check. I have never had someone at Marriott not at least not check.
Funny thing is, I walked right over to the courtyard which was literally 100 yards from the Fairfield and got a room. The staff there(Ed) was amazing! He took more than good care of me.
The chick at Fairfield maybe needs to think of switching careers. Because with someone like me that’s been in the service industry for over 25 years, this was definitely not customer service.
Breakfast was a big plus. We enjoyed the egg varieties.
On our 2nd night our heater in the rom was not working. The room was registering 63 degrees. We tried calling for help around 12-12:15 and received no answer or help. They moved us the next night.
