Very basic and not very healthy as advertised
Same leftover food was served.
The choice offered basic and the service poor
Lovely grounds, nice room
There was no option for room service. My booking was bed and breakfast, I asked to have breakfast in my room a s was given a menu that only have fruit toast and cereal on it and that was it.
The building and grounds are beautiful
It needs a lot of refurbishment and TLC. The standard double rooms are terrible. The are tiny, shabby, old and need a very good clean. I am sure as a hotel it would be no more than 2 star. The Spa is also dirty, it needs a revamp and an extremely good professional clean. It is overbooked and the facilities are not big enough for the amount of guests staying in the hotel. The Spa treatment area is the newest and best part of the hotel and experienced, however, the expensive treatments are not worth the price. The therapists are not experienced, clearly training or very newly qualified the treatments lacked any skill, depth, routine. It was very frustrating. A total spend of £650 including the room of which £465 was the Spa Experience and treatments. It definitely was not worth it. Sadly I would not return. If you are accustomed to quality and cleanliness I would not recommend this experience or hotel. 🥲
The staff were extremely helpful, the Spa, Treatments and Restaurant were excellent. The room was very comfortable.
No faults at all
Beautiful surroundings great facilities
Some parts need a deep clean
Stunning grounds. Blissfully peaceful. Facilities clean and spaced out so it never felt too busy. Fab staff. Good size room. Decent food.
