Tesla MedBed Center, East Dubuque

The location is off the beaten path and the hotel is an older hotel...however it has recently been updated so it was very clean with new beds, fresh paint and upgraded bathrooms. We upgraded to the biophoton room, Had a great sleep and felt very rested when we left. I would definitely stay here again. Only 13 miles from Galena and great shopping in Dubuque. My only comment, which is not negative but a warning, the hours are 9 am to 4 pm for the front desk. They sent a text asking what time I planned to check in so I knew of the shorten hours. No coffee in the lobby for early risers though as the front door was locked. Check it out though. We enjoyed it!

One of the best nights sleep in a hotel that we have ever experienced.

Was really hot when we entered the room, but after turning on the air, it was fine. Beds were VERY hard, so if you like that, you will love this place. Kind of a small feeling room, but for the price, overall it was good.

The hotel listing said there was a pool and breakfast. The hotel had neither. Despite looking a little old/run down from the outside the room was very comfortable. They run some sort of other business out of the hotel too, but when asked about it I was just told “those rooms are more expensive.”

Hotel was older and needs lots of updating, but it was clean and staff was friendly.

Place is OLD but pretty well maintained. Close proximity to the train is a nightmare at 2 am and 4 am. Fridge in the rooms is too loud and the AC as well. Prices are good but there is a tradeoff related to location

Clean room but when open water to shower water came out green/ black orangish so I let it run for a while

As another review said: don’t like the name turn you away. It was an overall great experience. When we checked in the owner was very welcoming and nice, comfy beds (pillows aren’t the best), very clean but in general the hotel is slightly outdated and things need updated but it comes with time. It was very quite, not far from gas station and other accommodation’s- we traveled to galena after staying and it was a quick trip there. I would stay again!

ice machine was broke. no ice bucket available with no cars in parking lot, the place looked abandoned. issue with water running brown when first turned on, there was actually a sign posted warning of this.. The one plus is that its located across the parking lot near a great supperclub.

Very clean ,very friendly ,very quiet,good price ,nice rooms ,located close enough to everything but away from the busy area ! We will definitely come back !

Don’t let the weird name of this hotel cause you to not stay here. It’s a great place to stay. It’s an older hotel that has been completely renovated. It’s the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in! Comfortable bed and nice soft pillows! Nice staff. It was a great stay! The breakfast was a nice change. It was trail mix, pop tarts, and juice, including V8. Loved that also!

Went to a concert and needed a place to crash- convenient location and clean room. Didn’t stay for breakfast

Looks like everything is out of order here. Bed to room size ratio is all wrong. Everytime I stepped down I got hurt from bed frame. Room had spiders, faucet had yellow water. Pool and ice machine were out of order.

Irony is name says Bio healing but I got physical hurt due to the condition of this hotel.

I felt safe and secure and comfortable.

Interesting hotel. I received emails inquiring as tho when I would arrive and advised there are no check ins after 9;00pm. Following our check in at 7:30pm the desk clerk closed the lobby. The first and second floors were indicated to be avaliable for hotel guest. Third floor is for biohealing guest? Part of sign in documents included acknowledgement that the property was being used for biohealing. I expected a sales pitch but that didn't happen. I estimate the property has perhaps 50 rooms but from what I could determine there were no other guest registered during our two night stay which seemed strange. The parking lot is large, there is grass growing from breaks in the asphalt but one clerk indicated that they are fully booked over weekends? Besides that the room was well equipped and clean.
