Good service, location and all amenities I needed for a great stay at an excellent price.
Pros:

Great central location. Rooms clean and fully functional. The staff were brilliant, engaging and helpful. Great Banter had with the room service staff. The rooms are a little dated but really all I need is a peaceful environment with comfortable bed, aircon and located to access to amenities in hotel and outside. The Metro Darwin had all this at a great price.

Pros:

Rude staff, dirty hotel. Wow!! Wifi was bad. Aircon was ineffective. Pool was grimy and the pool area astroturf was icky

If it had a good bed and the smoke alarm was moved I may have stay again.
Pros:

It was, close to a supermarket for goods. It is on the edge of the CBD so all is close. Nice staff.
Lots of food places near by or takeaways

Cons:

The kitchenet is nice as long as you don't set off the smoke alarm,,, set right above the toaster. ANY smoke from cooking has to go by the alarm. BUT to annoy you more there is a sign telling you if you cause the fire brigade to come YOU will be charged, So I did NOT have toast or cook . The bed was a 5/10 for comfort on one side and 3/10 on the other!
My other put off was the where the TV was set, you could only watch from the end of the bed or in bed.
That was my room. I do not want stay in it again!!!!!! Other rooms may be different???
Again a $10 per night parking off street car charge like most do now. It is a pity?

Pros:

Staff were beautiful. Made our beds every day as part of the light service. So friendly. Pool is beautiful. Perfect location for us. 4th time we have stayed and we will go again.

Was okay, but difficult to communicate with the weekend reception.
Pros:

Not too far walk, to shops, restaurant's, pub's etc

Cons:

Standing in the lift corridor and waiting over 10 minutes for the lift to arrive, and when it did, it continued past my floor level 2, without stopping. When finally got down, told the receptionist and her response was, "You have to swipe the lift card and press the floor you want" I said your not listening, I was outside the lift, awaiting its arrival.
