Dated and in need of refurbishment
Pros:

For $500 per night and it is not worth the money. The rooms are very clean, but they are dated and old. There was holes in the carpet, stains on the floors, holes in the walls and ceilings and just didn’t meet any expectations of what they are charging. Parking is also on top of the cost. They are very clean and they do a daily service to the rooms which was very nice and location was good but how stay, you can get better value for money elsewhere.

Barely adequate accommodation in a marginal location

There was not much to like

Cons:

The location is close enough to walk into Mitchell Street, but there’s not much in Cavanagh Street. The reception staff were not terribly friendly or helpful. The TV in our room needs to be replaced immediately as there is a smoky veil over the screen, making it very difficult to watch. The washing machine makes really weird noises when doing a load - like a belt is slipping or something similar. The apartment was superficially clean, but the mould in the bathroom (see photo) and accumulated dirt in corners throughout the apartment shows a lack of serious cleaning and attention to detail. The crockery, glass ware and cutlery in the kitchen need an update as they are barely adequate. The lounge suite is one of the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sit on.

Pleasant. Will be back.
Pros:

Close to the main strip (Mitchell st) but far enough away when it's busy and loud. Will be coming back again next month. TV in room is small and dated. Rooms were clean. Gym is a very broad term apparently. Don't expect a gym. It's three treadmills, some random free weights and an at home all in one gym pin loaded machine.

Terrible stay
Pros:

We had a terrible stay, the room was facing a Woolworths loading dock which operated 24/7 meaning sleep was difficult. The room had broken fixtures, sticky stains on the carpets, torn covers on the lounges.

Dates decor but convenient for tourist who want to be near town.
Pros:

The location to Darwin CBD, parking facilities, room size.

Cons:

The furniture is very dated and the decor is lifeless. Only 1 x USB port, the lounge was broken and very uncomfortable, TV way too small for that size room, no TV in the bedroom.

They will hold room bond for 4+ weeks after you check out
Pros:

Hotel put a $200 hold on my card when checking in on May 15th. I checked out on May 17th.
First they said it could be up to 10 business days to get my bond back. After 10 business days passed they stopped responding to any emails and ceased all communications. Prior to this, they blamed my bank, but my bank was adamant it was not them holding the funds.
5 weeks later I managed to get the hold taken off my card, no thanks to the hotel.

Terrible!
Pros:

Awful customer service. Supervisor is extremely argumentative. The room was missing 2 towels, had no milk in the fridge, and had a large stain on the floor under the bed. Would NOT recommend!

Good location, good clean facilities, effective air conditioning, good parking
Pros:

The location was great, very central, good walking distance to activities and good parking facilities.

Cons:

Our room was across the road from the back of Woolworths which meant every morning was disrupted with early morning, very noisy truck activity.
