the room smelled really bad, like they were covering up a smell. My husband and I bith wanted to move rooms but too tired. Both felt like the smell was very strong

Very disappointing
Pros:

Very expensive for what the rooms are ! We got the “special room rate” for a block of rooms reserved for a wedding, about $60-70 dollars MORE a night than we could have booked online ! And breakfast NOT included, $14.99 for a basic breakfast buffet you find at others hotels but are complimentary to guests ! Items were not even hot !
Rooms were far behind what is expected at $179. per night. Need updating and refurbishing.
Would not recommend !
