Pros:

Locatie. Ik had om een upgrade gevraagd en een mooie kamer op de 13e etage gekregen met toegang tot de lounge op die verdieping. Dat was prettig.

Cons:

Airco werd centraal geregeld en stond op winter modus waardoor het snikheet was in de kamer. Er stond wel een cooler in de kamer maar die kon de hitte niet verdringen. Heel slecht geslapen door de hitte. Werd gebroken wakker in de ochtend en de reis moest nog beginnen…

A very good, convenient and reasonable hotel near Hakodate station.
Pros:

Very convenient location within 2 min walk from Hakodate Station. The facilities are great: free coffee/tea at lobby, coin washing machines, smoking area on site... This is really a nice 4 star hotel. There are 2 complimentary water bottles in the room for those who don't drink tap water. Room size is reasoable (slighly larger than Tokyo rooms).
With walking distance you can get to many small restaurants for meals. The staff are polite and helpful. The hotel are spacious and clean in every corner. The rate is also very reasonable.

Cons:

There should be internet TV in the room since this is a 4 star hotel and there are many customers who don't want to watch Japanese channels due to language barrier.
Since it is a local hotel in a small city like Hakodate which is not really crowded (not Tokyo or Osaka or Kyoto), I think they should allow customres to check in before 3PM. Why you have to stick to the rules while the rooms are already available for check-in?!
