Had a great Snowboard trip.
Pros:

Room was clean and updated. Able to walk to the Heavenly gondola. Contactless check in was easy.

Cons:

Heater/AC in room made a "tick" noise every 4-5 secs. louder than the running fan. Very annoying, much like a leaky faucet drip. Had trouble sleeping until I got earplugs.

Pros:

Very spacious room, newly remodeled. Walkable distance to the Gondola.

All the communication with the staff is via text incl. checking in using the door code. This saves a lot of time during the check-in and check-out.

Also very helpful staff, quickly responsive in case of any issues. I've got issues with WiFi and they helped resolve it in minutes. Also we accidentally damaged the bedside lamp. After notifying the staff via text, they asked us to reimburse $20, which was fair. All communication was via text - very quick and efficient.

Cons:

There is a huge construction site just across the road, but it is far enough and not disturbing, also there was no work ongoing during the weekend.

The pool/spa were not operational during our visit. Maybe closed entirely during winter months?

Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Cons:

The shower faucet was wobbling, the TV did not work and the AC did not maintain the temperature set at. Granted I informed them past 10 pm on m last day about these things and they did call me and wanted to see if they can resolve it that night.

Inaccurate Advertising
Pros:

The location was conveniently close to dining, lake, and the main highway.

Cons:

The hotel sent several emails prior to arrival, frequently stating that there is ample parking, yet be sure to place the parking pass which is located in the room on your vehicle. However, there was no parking available—anywhere, including the street. Several spaces were occupied by concert attendees at a nearby venue. But the hotel did not enforce their “restricted parking” signs. Had to phone management, who did not do anything to rectify the situation. When traveling great distances, one needs to be able to park, especially when the hotel advertises free, available parking. Staff verbally told me that parking is “first come first served”, contrary to their emails and hotel advertising. Also, the bed was hard as a rock!
