Hotel muito bem localizado. Centro próximo a Praça da Independência.

A small hotel, centrally located.
Rooms are on the small size, hard to find a place even for the luggage.
Bathrooms reasonable.
Very poor breakfast, horrible coffee.
Basic attention from the staff.

Not recommended unless the price is very low.

Los muebles de la habitacion son muy viejos. La limpieza no es impecable.

Hotel antigo com ótima localização.
Funcionários da recepção atenciosos, quartos grandes, mas a limpeza deixa um pouco a desejar.
Garagem apertada, café da manhã repetitivo e com muitos itens doces e industrializados.

Calefacción: La descripción dice que incluye calefacción en zonas comunes y todo el hotel es un cubito. El aire acondicionado de la habitación a duras penas funciona y calienta lo suficiente. Las camas tienen unas mantas que deben datar de 1985 minimo.
Camas: las almohadas son dos fetas de fiambre, duras y con mal olor. Las camas son duras y no en el buen sentido. Son colchones viejos que fueron quedando. Te despertas con dolor de espalda/cuello. Nos tocaron sabanas con agujeros.
Cuarto: el 1970 llamó y quiere que le devuelvan sus habitaciones. NO HAY ENCHUFES. Hay dos enchufes en toda la habitación y solo uno está en un lugar utilizable. Los pisos son de ceramica, por ende son helados. El placard es un sucucho donde no entra absolutamente nada, no entran valijas tipo carry on ni de casualidad. Hay, en total, 5 perchas de plastico barato. La caja fuerte estaba rota.
Baño: el bidet era un adorno y no funcionaba bien. La ducha y la pileta pierden agua constantemente. No se puede regular nunca la temperatura, pasas frío o calor. El secador de pelo debe tener mas de 30 años y esta puenteado al enchufe, por ende ese enchufe no es seguro de usar. El inodoro y el bidet estan tan mal ubicados que para una persona de contextura promedio quedan incomodos de usar. Las toallas son mas asperas que una lija. El shampoo, jabon y crema enjuague son todo lo mismo y son pésimos, traigan los suyos si tienen la desgracia de haber reservado acá.
Desayuno: pésimo. El café es feo. El jugo de naranja es tipo Tang HIPER diluido. La oferta de comida es acotada y nada tiene buen aspecto. Las tortitas, la tarta de coco y las medialunas son HIPER secas, o peor, viejas y no son ricas.
Recepción: la gente de recepción es super amable y saben mucho sobre su ciudad.
Conclusion: No volvería ni con una orden judicial.

EN 🇬🇧🇺🇲: The pictures and the description of the hotel do not match the reality. The WiFi connection is very unstable, and under no circumstances it will work if you want to watch tiktoks or scroll through Twitter/X
Heating: the ad says that common places are heated, this is far from the truth. The whole hotel is constantly freezing. The AC from the room barely works, so the heating is limited and quite slow. The beds have blankets that look and feel +30 years old.
Beds: pillows are razor thin, have funky smell and are quite hard. Beds are hard, and not in the ergonomic matress way, but in the old as time way. The matresses might be as old as the hotel itself. You will wake up with a back ache or a stiff neck. Some of our sheets had holes in them.
Room: the 70's called and want their rooms back. There are no sockets. Only two of them can be found in the room, and only one is functional since the other one is almost on the ceiling. The flooring (tiles almost bathroom like) makes the room even colder. The closet has little to no space to put things on, no luggage can be fitted in there. Only 5 cheap plastic hangers in total. The safe is broken.
Bathroom: the bidet was an ornament, it did not work properly. The shower and the sink leak constantly, and you can never get a decent water temperature so you end up going from too cold to too hot. The hairdryer is quite old, and its wires have been cut to be plugged directly to the socket on the wall, so that socket is no longer safe to use. The toilet and the bidet are located in a way that a mid sized person cannot comfortably use it. The towels are as coarse as beard stubble. The shampoo, conditioner and soap are all the same thing (and pretty bad) so, if you made the mistake of making a reservation here, bring your own.
Breakfast: it sucked. The coffee is awful. The orange juice is highly diluted Tang. The food variety available is very little, and nothing looks particularly good. The croissants, pastries and pieces of cakes look dry as the dessert and the taste is not nice at all. One might even assume that some of the food being offered is old.
Reception: the receptionist are kind and they know a lot about their city
Conclusion: I would not come back even if I was forced by law

I hotel has a great location close to plaza indepensia with good coffee and dining options close by. The pool was a plus and the staff were friendly and helpful. One annoyance was that there was not an english language station on the tv, cnn or bbc please!

O hotel é bem localizado, ficando bem perto da Praça Independência, ou seja, perto de bons restaurantes e do comércio. Já tinha lido que os hotéis não são tão bons na cidade de Mendonça, achei que fui surpreendido negativamente, dado que no quarto só tinha uma tomada que ficava no banheiro. No café da manhã, também achei que ficou muito a desejar

Location was excellent. Facility was clean but tired. Safety was very good. Breakfast were only fair. Staff was as helpful as they could be with a poor command of English. It was certainly worth the the expense and we would go back.

Melhor hotel da Espanha, simplesmente sensacional

The receptionist (Augustina) speaks very good English and is really helpful and professional.
Thanks to her valuable Information, we have extended our stay by 3 days. Athough the hotel is very clean but poorly soundproofed.

La recepcionista (Augustina) habla muy bien inglés y es muy servicial y profesional. Gracias a su valiosa información, hemos prolongado nuestra estadía de 3 días, aunque el hotel está muy limpio pero mal insonorizado.

After a late night flight, we checked in and realized quickly overnight that the small bed was not going to work. The room was very small and window as well. Bathroom was very small as well. For one person would be fine. Next morning the wonderful Yvonne found a king suite with patio and large window/door to make the rest of our 4 day stay more comfortable. This review would have been much different without that change. The breakfast is a carb lovers dream. Cookies, crackers, breads - at least 20 kinds. Muesli, Cereal, Milk, liquid yogurt, coffee, hot:cold milk, and fresh fruit and real scrambled eggs round out the offering. The pool is nice, sheltered but the hot tub is cool too if that is important to you. The location is excellent and we walked everywhere. Had a wonderful dinner at Magnolia and recommend highly. We also did a AirBNB experience Food Tour with Boris/Fran that was so fun! Favorite wineries were Familia Cassone - amazing Malbec, the lunch pairing at Casa Vigil was an experience, and Norton wine blending and BBQ was a perfect day. We will be coming back.

By coincidence I had the chance to stay at the hotel (flight cancellation) I arrived at the reception and had the feeling I was non existing. After this I was told that I perhaps couldn’t stay because of my Aconcagua trip/summit weeks earlier (carrying bugs with me or some kind of other animal) Furthermore I heard I was to share a room witha stranger. Next to this my room seemed more like a prison/basement.
Perhaps I was unlucky/other persons have better experiences, but I felt very unwelcome (would definitely not advise climbers etc. to visit the hotel)

en general muy bien, lo curioso es que al contratar o hacer la reserva me cobraban $2950 (con IVA incluido), sin embargo, y después al pagar como extranjero (me habrían descontado el IVA), tuve que pagar $3150. Insólito!!. Lo justificaron con el cuento de que la AFIP era la que hacía los cálculos....
