Location, we could easily walk to the square and other attractions.
There were outdoor courtyards to relax and the atmosphere was quiet and restful.
The people were so nice and accommodating.
Breakfast was amazing, chocolate chip cookies every afternoon.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
Las Palomas is a wonderful (and affordable) boutique hotel in the plaza district. Easy 10 minute (tops) walk to the main plaza. The hotel itself is clean, unique and nicely adorned with a very friendly and helpful staff. There’s also a nice, but limited, made to order breakfast as well as ah la carte items. A friend recommended Las Palomas and I’m glad I listened to him. He said he parked his car and didn’t get into it for another four days. We did the same (except three days). Can’t say enough good things about Las Palomas.
Nothing.
Excellent breakfast, close proximity to restaurants and shopping areas in Santa Fe

Good location. Rooms are independent from each other like a separate house
Bed not comfortable, cheap pillows, shower small and uncomfortable, fireplace is on all the time so the room is hot and the ac running permanently with light on your face at night. Toiletries are limited. No complimentary water at least the first time. Breakfast slow but good.
Nice and quiet place to stay. Convenient location within walking distance to historic downtown.
Fantastic location within easy walking distance of the Plaza, the Railyard, restaurants, and shopping. Good made-to-order breakfast. Friendly folks. They were able to accommodate parking for our oversized van.
The property is dispersed, so it was a little confusing at first finding where to go, but once we figured that out, it was all good.
I love the location and the charm
Our room did not have blackout curtains and the outside light shone in all night. Room was pretty lit
The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast concept for the included breakfast, of ordering as you enter the dining room worked very well and the food was great.
its history and quaintness
the rooms were a little dark
Charming historic Las Palomas is great for Santa Fe. Lodgings in bungalows, with sitting area and kitchenette. So roomy and comfy. It is my 3rd time staying here, but since I am passing through, I don't get too much time to enjoy it . Love the cooked-to-order breakfast by the attentive staff. It's an easy walk up the street to the Plaza area. The quiet atmosphere is perfect.
Rooms are dark since they are historic. If you are in a hurry for breakfast, it takes time to cook orders, but worth the wait. No complaints!.
Very convenient and had a lovely fire in the room. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff
I liked the concept of the hotel, renovating century-old spaces. At least while we were there, the atmosphere in the public spaces, including breakfast, was friendly. And when we needed assistance, it came quickly. Since our room was vacant, we were able to move in a bit earlier.
Shortcomings in the facilities were not explained. E.g., the kitchen sink's faucet was installed so that hot and cold directions were reversed. That should be fixed, or if shrugged off, at least explained by a note. Likewise, directions to use the airconditioning remote would be helpful--not everyone uses them. Another luggage rack would help: for just two of us, one suitcase was on the floor.
Old casita style with full on southwest style, artwork and food
Needs a little update and TLC, but it was still charming
