Exceptional Hotel
Pros:

The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was Amazing!! The best/comfortable beds we’ve slept in.

After that all was comfortable.
Pros:

Our first room’s carpet had an awful, awful! smell!
So bad we could hardly breathe. But when immediately requested another room the Staff provided completely fresh room.

Cons:

Our first room should have the carpet stripped and put new fresh carpets!

Poor reception. Old, very loud A/C. BAD
Cons:

Our A/c sounded like a freight train. Got in late so did not report.
Wanted to report in morning, but just like when trying to check in, there was no attendant. Waited 10 minutes in empty lobby at check in. Gave up in am at checkout
Feel strongly we deserve refund. Barely slept and service was lousy

We come every year to visit my daughter for her birthday in June and your hotel is the place we stay every year !!!?
Pros:

Perfect location to visit family who live in the area

Cons:

Certain individuals parked in the handicapped spot and did not have a handicap plate or a hanging tag on the car. I am handicap and have plates on my car and I didn't have place to park because of this.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure was awesome. Just the eating area for breakfast wasn’t clean

Cons:

The breakfast area wasn’t clean. The floors were sticky, all the tables were dirty. We had to get someone to clean the tables. That lady was nice about it. And was happy to do it even though it wasn’t her area. All the staff was on their phones in the manager office area either inside of it or standing by it. They all laughing just hanging out. The coffee was out. No creamer. So I rate this area a 0

Pros:

The manager was unprofessional, lied, uncooperative and just downright a complete POS. Nice hire!!!

Cons:

The Manager!!!! He was present Friday 5/16 and Sat 5/17. You need to do better. I will NEVER stay at your hotel ever again, at any city. Never!

Being renovated but good experience
Pros:

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Lafayette during their current renovations, and overall had a great experience. It looks like they’ve started updating from the third (top) floor and are working their way down. We were in a newly renovated room on the third floor, and everything felt fresh, clean, and well cared for.

The room was thoughtfully set up with plenty of places to hang items, a wardrobe for clothes, an iron and ironing board, TV, desk, and even a comfortable settee for sitting. The bed was very comfortable, and the lighting throughout the room was decent. Even with renovations happening, our stay was pleasant, and the updates they’re making are definitely a positive improvement.

I stayed for 20 min. And it only took so long because they were struggling to cancel it. Disgusting!!!!!
