Carparking cost alot as no carpark attached to hotel and not much gf options available at breakfast
We arrived in the morning and there was a room for luggage, we took our suitcases there without payment, when we came back from the museum and my grandson fell asleep at the hotel hal, they immediately accomodated us. It was at 13:45 I think. The staff was very helpful and kind.
Perfect for what a needed, simply a bed for the night. Carpark directly opposite as I had travelled by car and was a short distance from the city centre. Had been to a festival for the day and there was even a kebab/pizza shop 0.3 miles away which was very convenient.
Was exactly as expected.
Staff were amazing and recommended the breakfast to me which I had no hesitation in paying for.
Room was extremely clean and very spacious.
Sadly the bed was a little hard and the city view promised in the booking was different to the view I got, Sadly the view was of the student block behind

It felt unsafe. There were signs warning against sex / child trafficking in the lobby and the lift.

Drains smell in bathroom. No USB sockets. Too hot for climate control.
The staff were absolutely lovely and made checking in and out super easy and stress free. There was coffee, tea and a biscuit as well which was nice. The bed was quite comfortable. The size of the room was quite nice as well as it wasn't too big or too small and the air conditioning was actually amazing!
The shower didn't drain very well at all and the toiletries weren't the best so I would recommend bringing your own.
Some of the amenities were a bit outdated and the tv was a bit funny, it had a few channels being the news, Dr pimple popper, a nice animal channel and to my dismay what I'm assuming was some sort of porn that I quickly turned off. There was a bit of mess under the bed but it's not like it was in the way and it wasn't too bad.
Over all it did the job and the thing that mattered to me the most was being able to shower and sleep okay on the bed which I was able to do.
