Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Great Barrington Lenox/Berkshires

This is a great location, close to restaurants and with a grocery store across the street for anything you could have forgotten. We were concerned with it being at the furthest south in the Berkshires, but it was a great spot and short drive to the other towns. There are wide open spaces in some parts of town, along with cute downtown eccentric shops to give you lots of variety. The hotel has a small parking lot so you don’t have to worry about parking forever away and dragging your baggage up. Your vehicle is easy to access from pretty much any point. There’s a nice view from the front rooms. The rooms and pool are in the same building. You won’t have to freeze walking to a different building across a cold parking like the resort hotel pools. The suite with two queen beds is perfect for a family of five. There’s a separate bedroom for the two queen beds, which is perfect for parents and little kids while the teenager can have the pullout couch in the living room. The living room also has a credenza with a TV , coffee maker and mini fridge. Make sure you turn on the mini fridge as soon as you get there. There is a really big bathroom with a regular shower head and a separate handheld shower shower head. Make sure the handheld is pointed inside the bathtub. Ours was pointed directly into the bathroom and sprayed water everywhere. The handheld is very helpful for little kids that hate to get their hair washed or if you need to rinse out bathing suits. There were handle bars in our bathtub, which were helpful for hanging out bathing suits to dry. The breakfast is great for a bite before you hit the road. Our picky eaters all found something they liked. The bacon, scrambled eggs and croissant are a solid choice. There was cereals, oatmeal and muffins for my kids. The coffee and food was much better (and faster) than the local Dunkies but there are plenty of great full breakfast restaurant choices nearby. When we were searching for a hotel, we wanted a great family choice, but something just a little cleaner and nicer. This hotel was about $75 more than the other similar nice chains. We passed by all the other choices on our drive and feel that with the location and quality this was worth the money. We already plan to head back this fall and I can do a much more detailed review with photos then.

I was grateful for the quiet and clean atmosphere . I was treated very well and I enjoyed my stay . I was there on a hiking trip and attended a concert too . Even though it rained on Saturday , I was able to get in all my plans and experiences . Cassidy was very professional and kind . I would love to come back

We had a nice overnight visit at this property. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and even received an upgraded room which was quite nice. The room had modern HVAC which worked perfectly, a firm mattress, a frig and microwave completed the room. Breakfast had a nice selection of warm and cold items including scrambled eggs, bacon and waffles. The attendant did an excellent job of keeping the breakfast bar stocked and she was quite friendly. Parking was abundant, well lit and the hotel was well situated. The hotel is set back from the main road so noise is at a minimum. A minor drawback is that the area does not have sidewalks so, despite several restaurants being quite close, driving to them was a safer option. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Excellent overnight stay, well maintained rooms and pool area, perfect for my little hiking trip. The only disappointment is that you need to get in your car to go anywhere from here, really, but that was true of almost every hotel I looked at.

Staying at the Fairfield Great Barrington is staying with your family. There is never anything the team is not willing to do to enhance my stay. I appreciate it . I look forward to many more.. keep up the great work!

Their breakfast was great, very clean, and had a pretty wide selection of food. We appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows.

Our stay in the Fairfield hotel in Great Barrington was very nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable, our room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated free parking.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff... Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient.

Stay here whenever in the area. Hotel is clean, staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a little above normal. Parking is safe. I didn't use pool or hot tub but peeked in and asked if it was hot. It was.

They didn't just meet my expectations - they exceeded them. We booked a room block for our wedding. They walked us through the property prior to booking, ensured we had the bridal suite to get ready in plus they added a table and chairs for hair and makeup. They managed and communicated deliveries, guests, everything - all with a smile. I can't say enough good things. Of all the moving parts, they were the easiest part of it all!! Thank you!

Outstanding place to stay in the Berkshires!
Well appointed decor , extremely clean and classically decorated. Great restaurants nearby and centrally located! The hotel serves a lovely breakfast which is simple and fresh! We always enjoy our stay at the Fairfield Marriott in Great Barrington.

I recently stayed at the hotel for a weekend trip to the area
It was a pleasant experience from the minute I walked through the front door till when I departed the next morning. Breakfast was readily available when I went down for my morning coffee. My room was very clean an quiet. I will definitely stay there again.

Super clean and customer service was top shelf . from the initial reservation until checkout the Staff at the Fairfield Inn made me feel like I was home. Cleanliness 10 out of 10 customer service 10 out of 10 the breakfast bar topknot all the way will be back.!

Perfect for purpose, reasonable rate for clean room in unfamiliar town passing through. Staff was friendly, gave good recommendations for dining. Room was very quiet.

Fantastic stay at Fairfield by Marriott, Great Barrington! What a lovely place to stay while we spent time in GB as well as some ski time at Catamount. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean and well maintained. We hope to return again in the future.

Favorite hotel in the area! The staff is always super friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of variety and I really appreciate that the fruit is alway fresh. Have stayed here many times and each stay has been great.

We have been here two times now and they just keep getting better! Wonderful, friendly staff, it is a very clean hotel, (my wife who notices EVERYTHNG noticed is was clean) and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Every single member of the staff was warm and welcoming. A great option especially if traveling with kids. Awesome indoor pool with hot tub and the small arcade area was a big hit. Close to both Catamount and Butternut ski areas.
