Room was dirty and well not up to standard.
Human hair everywhere in bathroom and bedside tables. Mould on tiles, spa and window ledge.
Food on carpet and definitely has not been vacuumed for a long time. Dust and cobwebs on walls and ceiling. This once was a beautiful place and is now rundown. Such a shame.

Just spent 4 nights there. It was dirty, they don't make the bed unless you ask them, they don't clean the bathroom or supply fresh linen. The carpets are filthy and the stair rails are dirty and sticky. The lift rattles and feels very unsafe. I took the towel off the rail in the bathroom and the rail fell off. In one word it was DISGUSTING.

Formerly a really nice place now showing its age. Some basic maintenance and it would come up a treat. Run down a tattered but clean enough. Reflects the price. I’d stay again, just got a shock compared to how it was

Bathtub is extremely disgusting, so much hair and dust. Hair dryer not working, bed are so flat, room is so old, lift shaking so bad, feel like will break down in any second.
Used to love to stay over in here but i guess this will be the last time.

Generally, price and staff were good, room was a great size. However lift was not working on dayu we left.

Hotel lift is not reliable as it takes long time to open the door. Room Aircon is noisy even though adjusted to low noise. It felt like you are sleeping in a motor room. Room was not cleaned even though I placed the sign outside the room. Rarely can see hotel staff in the hotel. We arrived the hotel in the late night and found a cafe nearby to have some food and drink as the hotel do not provide any bottle drinking water in the room.They provided very basic toiletries such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There are no toothbrush, toothpaste or personal care products in the washroom. Hotel restaurant seems like not operating we are unable to have any meal. We have been different countries and mostly hotel provide bottled drinking water for their guest.

Our room was very spacious and quite adequate for our one night stay. The property could benefit from a refurbishment. However, I think we got good value for the price we paid.

Beau Monde is a centrally located relaxation centre of the east. Great local walks and cafes nearby. Hotel itself has great wines on hand and lovely friendly staff, with roomy, clean and tasteful rooms.

Shrubs at entrance badly need a trim! Garni the drive way, 1st impressions not real good, but could be blood with a bit of maintenance. Toilet seat needs replacing- (broken).
Instructions on how to turn on the TV would help

Premium location, with a variety of places to eat and rest. The canal is close and the hotel has a wonderful selection of wines on hand.

Split system noises from the adjoining rooms kept us awake as they vibrated through the walls when they turned on throughout the entire night. Not a restful stay

This property is what you would call a booty call motel. Very dissapointing for price. The only good thing was the location and the size of the delux suite. It was run down, dirty and only 1 person running it. The bedding was stained, and dirty.

The whole place is dated and dirty. Building is dirty and damaged and outside area unkept with dead plants and weeds. Hallway carpets stained, blanket to put on bed stained. Staff member aloof and not engaging at all. Remotes did not work but may have been flat batteries on both. Bed was fine to sleep in and linen was clean. Fingerprint marks on back of door around handle. Complimentary shampoo 1/2 used.

Absolutely filthy, rundown and in an unacceptably poor condition. Stains on carpets, towels and bed, dust, dirt and hair on the furniture and floors. Very disappointed with the property and its misleading “luxury hotel” rating on Wotif. Should not be receiving guests until fully renovated as it’s a health hazard in its current state.

It was suitable for our needs-getting ready for a wedding. Spacious room.

Great location. People were nice. Property run down. No breakfast. Dead plants in resteraunt. Had to clean filters in air conditioning unit our selves. Dust and rubbish behind the bed side tables and under the bed. Mould in the shower.

The smell of mould walking up the stairs sent alarm bells! Unattended reception and had to go looking for a staff member. The room was covered in dust not even the coffee table had been wiped down. Cupboard doors were filthy, lamp shades with an inch of dust growing of the top. Putrid!
