An impressive place to stay.
Pros:

Room design, breakfast and staff-services are great.
Close to Kyoto Station, only a few steps. You can leave your luggages easily before starting your happy journey in Kyoto. No need to find a coin locker.

Friendly staff and sufficient for two night stay in Kyoto
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and professional. The bathroom was great and the water pressure of the shower was very strong. It was a quiet room and I didn't hear a bunch of stuff going on outside or in the next rooms.

Cons:

The bed wasn't really that comfortable and a bit on the harder side. It was fine for just sitting and lounging, but it made it hard to fall asleep. The room was sufficient for a solo traveler, but might feel a bit too small for two.

Hotel is 5 minutes walk from Kyoto station, provided a great breakfast selection plus there is a public bath within the hotel.

Cons:

We stayed in a standard room, room size is small.
