Great location, could do with a refresh.
Pros:

Location was very good. Nice places for coffee nearby and very handy for MRT.

Cons:

Rooms were tired - we had the 2 bed apartment. The reception had a very strong smell that was not pleasant. Weren't given the option of breakfast but looked OK. Pool didn't look too inviting. Gym was very limited. The water boiling contraption was overly complicated.

Pros:

Excellent place for families. Having two separate living spaces was perfect for us with a small baby. The location is great, you can walk to many places and there is also a metro stop nearby. The neighborhood is excellent, and the staff were especially kind, friendly, and a real pleasure to deal with. We would happily stay here again.

The location is near the tram and bus stops, walking distance to a shopping centre, and with a good-sized kitchen, the Indonesian restaurant Padang n next to the reception is delicious!

Could do with extra kitchen utensils items like pans, plates, cups etc. We were a party of 5 but only had 4 items of each items like cutlery, plates, glasses etc

El mejor alojamiento de Singapore relación tamaño-precio
Pros:

Sinceramente ibamos un poco asustados viendo que las reviews decían que la habitación era muy vieja y que tenian que tener una remodelacion pronto. Creo que sí, las habitaciones no son las más nuevas del mundo, pero aún así no notas que nada sea viejo o esté sucio, están muy bien mantenidas. Además, en relación tamaño-precio con respecto a otros alojamientos, sin duda este las superaba con creces. Por el mismo precio que en otros alojamientos con habitaciones minúsculas, aquí tenias un salon con cocina donde podías ver una peli o preparar tu comida si querías, además de la propia habitación que contaba con vestidor.

Otro punto a favor, fue la zona, con cafés y sitios para comer muy cercanos, además de estar a pocas paradas en metro/bus del centro de la ciudad. Sin duda muy accesible a todo.

in 2 minds primarily around the security issue as mentioned otherwise well placed.
Pros:

The location is great for public transport, relation to food halls, cafes and sightseeing along the foreshore. The train metro is across the street and has many connections to the rest of the network, is fast and efficient. We walked to the Raffles Hotel and the foreshore relatively flat and easy though in the humid weather it can be draining. Bus stops are outside the building however we didn't use the bus network much so can't vouch for its connectivity. The apartment was clean, spacious enough for 2 adults, on the whole well maintained and every thing worked as far as I can recall.

Cons:

The issue that concerned me most was that the cleaner left the door to our apartment unlocked and slightly ajar while we were away all day on one occasion and the reception staff were non-plussed saying the cleaner was new and forgot to close the door - this was unsettling at the time. Another issue was that I paid more than the advertised price because of the way the exchange rate was calculated however that has more to do with the Booking site that the apartment. The building was hard to spot among other buildings coming out of the metro at night when we first arrived, the signage is not immediately obvious especially at night. I would have welcomed some tea/coffee/sugar/milk arriving late as we did however there was was only 1 sachet each of black coffee and tea - for the price there could be a bit more of these small considerations. There are no instructions on the AC or the coffee maker in the kitchen so a bit guess work is needed. There is no bedside table nearest the window which was inconvenient. The reception staff were pretty much functional and could not provide information about the apartment or tourist information about the area.
