De ligging

Cons:

Midden in de nacht ging het brandalarm af. Iedereen moest het hotel verlaten. De brandweer kwam. We hebben niemand van het personeel gezien; niet om te checken of iedereen buiten was en ook niet om naderhand te vertellen wat er aan de hand was. De volgende morgen moesten we zelf verhaal gaan halen en het kwam er op neer; oh dan heeft er waarschijnlijk weer een zwerver in de parkeergarage op de nood knop gedrukt. Als of het de normaalste zaak van de wereld was.

Cons:

Leider hat der Kühlschrank im Zimmer nicht funktioniert. Auf Nachfrage, wurde nur mitgeteilt, dass dies bekannt sei.
Die Lage ist extrem schlecht,ciele Drogenabhängige vor der Tür bzw. im Parkhaus.

Pros:

L'hôtel est à proximité du centre de Aachen, c'est un plus !

Cons:

Le prix du déjeuner car je le trouve un peu cher, donc nous avons déjeuner à l'extérieur. (J'ai eu l'occasion de le prendre il y a deux ans et ça ne vaut pas la somme de 26€ par personne).

It was a cozy stay at Novotel.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. It was quiet. The location is perfect.

Cons:

There is no sink in the toilet to wash hands. Though it meets the four-star criteria on paper, the room feels a bit congested, and the fixtures are marginal, offering the minimum standard in a limited space.

Tolles Hotel, aber gruselige Tiefgarage (eines anderen Betreibers) mit offener Drogenszene
Pros:

Das Hotel war top! Personal sehr nett. Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Frühstück vielfältig. Bar ein schöner Aufenthaltsort. Am Hotel selbst gibt es nichts zu meckern.

Cons:

Die Garage, die nicht vom Hotel betrieben wird, aber eigentlich wegen der Ortsnähe zum Parken ideal ist, war gruselig. Ich bin aus Versehen in das 2. Untergeschoss gefahren und habe dort Junkies angetroffen, die Drogen konsumierten. An der Einfahrt zur Tiefgarage stehen dunkle Gestalten und man kann offen Austauschhandlungen zwischen Dealern und Kunden beobachten. Warum wird das nicht regelmäßig von der Polizei bestreift? Schon für einen Laien ist offensichtlich, was da passiert. Dieser Umstand wertet den Hotelaufenthalt insgesamt leider sehr stark ab, weil das Sicherheitsgefühl, sobald man die Garage betritt, schwindet.
