I’d likely stay here again but only because of the location. The hotel seems tired and needs repairs.
Pros:

Close to my destination

Cons:

Front desk staff not helpful after hours. Room was in poor shape. Tub leaked, paint pealing, road noise was very high.

It is very close to Children’s Hospital.

Cons:

This was the second time we stayed at the hotel. The first time was great. This time we had some issues checking in, the bathroom was handicapped (which wasn’t a problem) but the floor flooded while showering, the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and our room was next to the garage so the noise was awful.

Location because it is right at the school that we visited.

Cons:

The heating/cooling unit makes pretty loud noise. So we had to turn it off. They must replace it.

The staff and the cleanliness of my room was the best thing

Cons:

I did not like that. There was not an elevator from the parking garage or a back stairway that could get you from the parking garage to the hotel in a more timely fashion. And I was very appalled of the fact that you had to pay for your breakfast. I would think after the money you pay at an establishment like that the breakfast should be complementary, but being as it wasn’t, I ended my stay abruptly after the staff member told me I had to pay for breakfast, so I went up to my room, packed my stuff and I left. I will not give Doubletree my business again, and I also made made this known to a lot of my colleagues that traveled to the St. Louis area to not use your facility because of such things
