Hotel con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo super consigliato

Struttura moderna e super pulita. Stanza grande e confortevole. Posizione centrale per raggiungere facilmente tutte le più importanti attrazioni della città. Colazione ottima

OK, not great.
Pros:

Front desk staff was friendly and responsive. Room was decent size. Location was very good for seeing Ghent old town.

Cons:

Hotel lacks character. This is a modern hotel in a wonderful city, in an excellent location. However, don't be fooled by the word 'river' in the name. While it is on the river, you cannot see it except from some rooms. There is no common area (patio or similar) near the river. Our view was of a courtyard and a construction zone next door. Also, the A/C is not up to the task if there is a heat wave as there was during our visit. Our room was stuffy and warm, making sleep uncomfortable. Towels in the room were a bit old and ratty.

Pros:

La habitación es amplia y acojedora con estilo como se muestra en la fotografia tipo edificio de ladrillo, la cama y almohada muy cómoda para descansar. Las amenidades de baño excelente, nos dieron habitación con vista al canal, por lo que fue excelente. Muy recomendable el desayuno, muy completo, delicioso y con alimentos de la zona. Las personas de recepción muy amables, nos proporcionaron mapas e información de la ciudad en español, pudimos dejar el equipaje ya que llegamos antes de la hora. Excelente servicio en general

Good location to explore Ghent.
Pros:

The location of the apartment was convenient for exploring on foot.

Cons:

Unfortunately our apartment had a lovely view of the carpark and cars parked less than 1m from the bedroom window. There was a very musty smell in the room.

Pros:

Fantastiskt rum – mycket vackert och mysigt! Stort och fint badrum samt ett rymligt vardagsrum. Ligger dessutom väldigt centralt. Vi parkerade bilen på den privata parkeringen vid torget, och det fungerade utmärkt.

Prachtige, ruime kamer met een mooi uitzicht op het gracht, lekker ontbijt, locatie kon niet beter. Bovendien is Gent voor mij een van de mooiste steden in Benelux.

Schönes Zimmer,
Am Sonntag auch gutes Frühstück, am Montag nicht wiederzuerkennen, eingeschränkte Auswahl und ds wurde wenig bachgekegt

Great location to see the city--Professional Staff--Carefully verify your reservation/room
Pros:

Check in was smooth and finding the hotel straightforward (we had stayed there before). Staff was helpful and even with a mix up with payment of the booking, it was handled well and efficiently. The AC worked very well (important with the high heat). Location is great and very close to eateries and just wandering around the beauty that is Gent.
Management was very attentive and professional!!
There was a lot of construction going on (that will be for some time I believe), so that was interesting-- but think the windows helped with insulating the noise.

Cons:

We believed we had reserved a river view room (as we had done prior, with stone/brick and a straight out view. Instead we got a modern room very high up, small windows to look way down to the river and a view of the building apparently voted "most ugly" (as we were told by a river guide) in town from the side. Because I had hoped to get the room with character, it was really disappointing to realize we were not given what we thought we reserved.
