De locatie, charmante kamer

Cons:

Afzuiging badkamer werkte niet - onaangename geur, sommige planken van vloer liggen los of liggen hoger, kraken heel hard. Veel nacht lawaai van kamer boven, gezin wakker geworden van het krakende vloer boven, het was alsof iemand in ons kamer rond wandelde en lawaai muziek van buiten. Versleten wandelschoenen lagen nog in de kast. Qua prijs verhouding vonden wij dit niet waard voor 1 nacht.

Déco sympa, confort et calme
Pros:

La situation géographique est excellente. La chambre est très agréable et la déco est très sympa. C'est calme et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et très agréable dans la pièce tout vitrée au dernier étage.

Centraal hotel, netjes, centrale ligging!
Pros:

Ik vond Ghent River Hotel een goed en verzorgd hotel met een uitstekende ligging in het centrum van Gent, waar vooral de nette kamers en het vriendelijke personeel positief opvallen. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is goed waardoor ik het geheel beoordeel met een solide 8,0/10.

Cons:

Ontbijtoptie niet genomen. € 25 pp voor ontbijt is veel te duur.

Rustig en gezellig, voldoende
Pros:

Gezellige kamer met uitzicht op het water.

Cons:

Gehorig hotel, luide buurman al om 7u in de ochtend die ik doorheen mijn oordopjes kon horen. Ook het poetsteam op de gang voerde luide gesprekken vanaf half 8/8u in de ochtend.

De locatie en het ontbijt redden het hotel.
Pros:

De locatie en het ontbijt waren veruit de beste faciliteiten van het hotel. In het centrum dus te voet is alles goed te doen. Het hotel is uitgebreid en word tot laat bijgevuld. We kwamen niets te kort.

Cons:

Het bed was erg hard waardoor we allebei niet heel.goed geslapen hebben. De kamer was toch wel erg basic en mankeerde her en der iets. Dat was wel jammer. We hadden voor die prijs en afgaande van de foto's toch wel iets anders verwacht. Dat was een tegenvaller. Het personeel aan de balie hing buiten met vrienden waardoor hij niet zag dat we assistentie nodig hadden.

Two night stay with sister
Pros:

Good location right next to canal. Comfy beds. Nice exposed brick wall. Good black out curtains.

We had requested a twin set up but unfortunately when we arrived the room had been set up as a double however this was quickly changed after speaking to reception.

Cons:

One of the lights in the bathroom was not working which made applying make up difficult. Unfortunately despite alerting reception to this it was not fixed during the two days of our stay.

Veblijf (4 dagen) in Ghent River Hotel.
Pros:

Knusse kleine kamer met mooie badkamer! De ligging van het hotel is echt perfect alles op loop afstand, de Vrijdagsmarkt met leuke restaurantjes, terrasjes, en heel dichtbij winkels etc.

Cons:

De termostaat was stuk temp. in kamer was bij aankomst 25C, de receptie zei zet 'm uit dan wordt het koeler we zullen morgen een technicus bellen. Was natuurlijk een hopeloze zaak (Pazen!). Maar kreeg helemaal geen terug koppeling van receptie niets, jammer! Toen ik weg ging was het in de kamet 21C lekkere temp.....
