A pleasurable short stay
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed for our short stay. Breakfast was good with plenty of everything and always hot .

Cons:

We weren’t disappointed with anything as we have stayed there several times before we knew what to expect.

Great stay, delicious breakfast.
Pros:

Very close to all the city centre attractions. Also I have an issue with noise outside my room window, but the lady in reception gave me another room straight away.

Cons:

Sometimes you can hear the voices from the room beside you.

Comfy , dog friendly stay in great location,
Pros:

Central location , beautiful old building, the staff, bed and bedding , umbrella machine was useful, my dog enjoyed the stay.

A pleasant weekend in Edinburgh in a lovely hotel, close to everything
Pros:

The hotel is very close to shops
a cinema and restaurants as well as just across the road from the tram stop which goes to the airport, which is great.
It’s very comfortable, staff are friendly and the breakfast is good.
The reception area is pleasant and there’s a bar and hot drinks machine available.

Cons:

Nothing.

Ciudad con un encanto especial
Pros:

La ubicación nos encantó, facilita desplazamiento a pie a toda la zona vieja, la mas turistica, se llega muy facil hasta el Castillo. Cerca hay 2 centros comerciales, restaurantes y transporte público, justo en frente pasa el tranvia, se puede comprar el "day ticket" por 6 libras y puedes usar el tranvia para hacer recorrido hasta Newhaven (bahía) para visitar el faro, ir a West End para visitar Dean Village, mejor dicho ir y volver cuantas veces quieras durante el día, el tranvia pasa por princess Street. La estacion de trenes Waverley queda a pocas cuadras del hotel (5-8 minutos), lo cual era muy cómodo. La habitación era un poco pequeña, la cama doble también lo era, pero estaba cómoda. Nos tocó la habitación 614 y desde la ventana teníamos vista hacia la bahía, lo cual fue un extra. Los desayunos estaban ricos, siendo el mismo siempre, para nosotros estaba bien pues habían varias opciones como huevos revueltos, tomate asado, salchicha, tocino, frijoles blancos, diferentes panes, mermeladas, cereales, jugos, cafe, te, frutas, etc. En el lobby tienen una estacion de Te con varios tipos y sabores, lo cual se agradece en la noche cuando se llega después de pasar tanto frío afuera.

Cons:

No entendí porque el baño tenía un bombillo de color azul. Mejoraría mucho la luz del baño pues es bastante tenue, lo cual hace imposible maquillarse cómodamente, me tocó hacerlo en la ventana donde si tenia mejor luz y con mi espejito de bolsillo. El piso es de madera, por lo cual al caminar se hace ruido. La última noche fue muy incomoda pues en la habitación de al lado, la 615, hubo una persona hablando duro y gritando como hasta las 5am (hablaba otro idioma entonces no entendimos lo que decia, pero parecía muy molesta), no dejó dormir bien, varias personas de las habitaciones vecinas nos vimos afectados por esa situación

Tolle Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip.
Pros:

Sauber, freundliches Personal, gute Lage. Frühstück war gut.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück war die Klimaanlage etwas kalt, es gab kaum einen Platz an dem kein Zug war :(
