It was near to everywhere we needed to go, plenty of buses, trams weren’t working nearby due to roadworks, otherwise they stopped outside. Food was good, got a bit packed at certain times at breakfast.
Hard to find, we walked right past it! So get better signage outside, two flags wrapped around the flag poles didn’t help in locating you! Breakfast area needs to be bigger, we struggled to get a seat during busy times.
We had a pleasant stay overall, and the location was excellent for exploring Edinburgh. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a variety of options.
The only issues we experienced were with the air conditioning, which kept switching off and needed to be turned back on repeatedly, and the ventilation in the bathroom, which didn't seem to work very well. Neither issue spoiled our stay, but it would be great if they could be looked into for future guests.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would consider staying here again.
The air conditioning which kept switching off, and the bathroom ventilation not working.. Also, having a Tram stop just in front of the Hotel was beneficial. While the tram disruption due to the Princes Street fire wasn't the hotel's fault, it would have appreciated should alternative transport to the airport would have been offered rather than simply directing us to find another service ourselves.

Too many steps to climb to get in the hotel and from the lobby to the elevator. There needs to be a ramp for easy access to the lobby. It is difficult to maneuver with large bags.

Die Lage war super. Eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle befindet sich gegenüber vom Hotel.
Das Zimmer war klein, aber für eine Nacht hat es gereicht. Leider gab es kaum Ablageflächen für die Kleidung.
Was uns sehr gestört hat waren die vielen Stiegen. Um ins Hotel zu kommen musste man seinen Koffer über einige Stiegen schleppen, ebenso wenn man zum Aufzug wollte.
Location ideal to museums and public transportation. Staff are pleasant and breakfast area was nice with views of mall and street across the entrance.
