We liked the included breakfast which we assumed would be a standard continental breakfast but it was a mini high tea style one which was a nice surprise. Beds were quite comfy and we enjoyed the separate sitting area in our suite. Great location and beautiful heritage home.
Room cleanliness could be a bit better but it is a heritage property. Stairs to get up to rooms were very steep and may not be suitable for older people. Again it is a heritage property and this is not something they can change but just to be aware.
Free parking, quaint look, large room, breakfast, attentive staff, walking distance to the harbour.
Lack of a stand up shower, air con and lift (but expected due to the age). The bed was too hard and not comfy for me. Missing a residents lounge to get a pre-dinner drink / nightcap.

We had a cramped Library room with somebody’s shoes left. The delightful dining room was missing its normally beautiful view because of construction.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming, from the front desk to housekeeping to dining room staff. We had some lovely conversations with everyone there. The building is absolutely gorgeous as well, if you love historical vibes this place is for you!
It was so quiet and delicious. Absolutely loved the breakfast.
Lovely old building. A notch above usual service. Nice place. The late check in was at the adjacent hotel, just around the corner.

Construction work in area couldn't be helped but wasn't the best.
Rooms are a little dated, but they are a period hotel. So you expect that.
If you like older properties with character this old inn is pretty cool. The location is good and the breakfast is outstanding.
While the location is good major construction nearby provides constant noise. We also found a mousetrap under our bed which was not pleasant.

Location was nice but obstructed by construction. Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful at all times. They made our stay here more pleasant.
No elevator. Needs updating, carpets and wallpaper were in bad condition.
