Emergency stay
Pros:

We had a very nice stay. We were only 20 miles from home but no electricity. We have eaten at the PAR4 restaurant many time. I love their fish dinners.

There had been a power outage in town and that is why we got a room as our home was without electric
Pros:

Pillows and bedding were plentiful and the room was clean. The staff was pleasant and friendly especially the Desk Clerk.

Cons:

There was no cable television working at the entire property our first night. Admittedly because of the storm. I think there should have been a small room rate compensation for that. WiFi was also spotty and weak, maybe the same reason. So there wasn't anyway to entertain oneself in the room except using a phone network.

Pros:

King room with hot tub and fireplace is excellent!

Cons:

Pool tiles need attention. People wrote their names in the build up... Had a pool, separate kiddies pool and hot tub. Needs some updating but water temperature is therapeutic.

Only thing to improve are the beds
Pros:

The pool area is great and they have a fantastic breakfast.

Cons:

The bed hurt my back to the extent that I lost hours of sleep trying to get comfortable.

The best in Waupaca
Pros:

Par 4 provides an excellent location with an inviting staff. The rooms are clean with ample room to unwind and rest. The sidewalks were totally clear of snow and ice when we stayed in February. Par 4 is the only place I would highly recommend staying at while visiting Waupaca Wisconsin.

Pros:

everything was perfect, room was very clean, modern and spacious. Bed was one of the best I have experienced in a hotel. Continental breakfast was amazing.

Choice Hotel at Par 4 is a marginal place to stay with a very unreliable restaurant
Pros:

Rooms were OK, beds comfortable enough. However, because this is hotel is promoted strongly as a resort hotel, we expected a much better breakfast. Hot offerings were sub-standard, especially the powdered scrambled eggs. The biggest issue was that the restaurant, at which we had reservations for 12 people, decided to be closed that evening (a Friday). We didn't learn about that until check in. No one from the restaurant even bothered to call. That caused us to scramble at the last minute to find another restaurant for our group of 12. We found a delightful place which we will definitely go to in the future, not the restaurant hotel.

Pros:

This is the BEST place to stay in Waupaca. The hotel is clean and nice. The staff are professional and very friendly - and helpful when needed.
