This is a historic building, hence not all rooms have windows. There are 3 floors and no elevator.

Dogs are allowed on request, at an extra cost of USD 24 per night please specify in request the size, weight and the bread of the dog, please ask for hotel pet policy. Please note that Hotel CasAntica does not have any special facilities for pets, and therefore they must remain in the same room as the guest.

If you have dogs and want to be right in the center , this is comfortable and quiet
Pros:

We got the last room at last moment— they allowed dogs😀 and they found parking for our car!! And the location was perfect. Although breakfast was not included, it was great in a nice courtyard

Cons:

Room was comfortable but small and with no windows. Hotel is quite large.

Excelente ubicación, lo malo fue las cucarachas

El hotel es antiguo, bonitas las areas de descanso

Cons:

Me alojaron cerca del cuarto de servicio y había cucarachas, diario matabamos mínimo 1 cucaracha. Cuando contacte el hotel ofrecian una habitcaión con cama grande (según el anuncio en internet) y suponía que era una cama king size y resulto una cama matrimonial, el cuarto en general estaba bien, aunque muy pequeño.

A good location, but not great value for small rooms and a pool nobody uses
Pros:

The location is great, perfect for a quick walk to all the major sites and lots of great bars and restaurants. The building itself is very cool and there are some nice terrace areas to sit outside

Cons:

The rooms are very small with little natural light, and the pool may as well not be there. It's completely in the shade and there is one sun lounger perched awkwardly at the side, not an inviting place to relax

Pros:

És una meravella d'hotel en un antic convent arreglat amb molt de gust. Hi vam anar per les festes de Nadal i estava molt ben adornat. Està molt ben situat i pots anar a peu a qualsevol lloc d'Oaxaca.

Cons:

L'habitació era una mica petita per dues maletes mitjanes. No hi havia ascensor, però el personal de l'hotel ens va ajudar en tot moment. Repetiríem segur!

Great location, cosy & comfortable.
Pros:

The location was very good, close to the markets, restaurants and beautiful buildings.
The room was a little on the small size but we did get the basic room. The wardrobe however, was not really useable as it did not have shelving inside it.
A mini fridge would have also been a nice addition so that we could of had cold drinks in our room.
The hot water was very good.
We were also able to drop off our bags in the morning and check in later on.
The hotel had a nice boutique feel, it was very cosy.

Cons:

The pool was ice cold, heating for it would have been a nice addition.

location is great

Cons:

the hotel is so overpriced. it is too expensive for the quality it offers. The room quality is not equivalent to the price we payed in other hotels in Mexico. the shower didnt have enough water and it was not warm enough, sheets and towels were not as expected.

The walls sounded like paper! Noise
was all around and all the time: the courtyard was in the middle of the hotel, ok, but there were some other noises from some kind of machines working.

Whats more: when ee arrived we had these problems with our room:
toilet and TV was not working. toilet was promplty fixed not the TV.
They’ve changed our room and gave us 10% discount for the 2 nights after our request and complaints.

Una visita agradable en el corazón de Oaxaca
Pros:

Nos encantó el servicio del personal, amables y muy eficientes. El servicio de restaurante funciona muy bien. Las áreas comunes del hotel son muy bonitas y agradables espacios de terraza.

Cons:

El tamaño de la suite era cómodo aunque las camas estaban duras y el baño podría remodelarse y ser más cómodo para compartir con tres personas.

Great period features, could do we some renovations.
Pros:

Huge room, great period details at the hotel

Cons:

Room was very dated, there was no water pressure in the shower so it was almost impossible to use. It needed descaling as a minimum.
