Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo

It was a nice stay. Everybody was very nice. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Clean Room. Comfortable bed.

We booked three nights here and had a great stay. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are clean - there are eco options on room cleaning which we liked. The spa was a treat for a great massage (Karen was my masseuse.)

My sister came up ill on our last stay and reception desk was able to extend our stay a fourth night even while booked up. Many thanks!!!

Our room was very nice and comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent!

Larger hotel than anticipated with large travel groups. Overall, nice enough.

Receptionist was very help and friendly. Restaurant staff didn’t seem too interested.

Clean room efficient staff

I was only able to sleep a couple of hours a night because of the air not circulating in the room. The Air conditioning system would turn off completely every 30 minutes to two hours. If you need air circulation in your room to sleep, this is definitely not the place to stay right now. The first time I asked for assistance to address the issue, they simply turned it on remotely and it turned off within 2 hours. The second time I requested assistance they sent a representative to the room to show me how to push the power button. Really…. Do you think this resolved the issue of it turning off? Therefore, the problem was never resolved because they didn’t take the time to listen to the actual issue. My wife and I slept approximately 6 to 7 hours in 3 days. This is the first time we are submitting a negative review because we are careful about selecting rooms with air conditioning, so we do not have to leave the window open and risk insects coming in throughout the night.

Property appears clean but on closer examination is dirty. Stains on carpets, curtains, served a dirty glass with lipstick on it, had reserved and prepaid for a triple room and because we only have 2 people in our party they attempted to give us a smaller room. The shower and tub facet didn’t work properly. Would not recommend.

We really liked the food! The Waves Bar was very delicious and the service was very good. I would recommend to make a reservation for the Brasserie as it can get very busy. There was some dust in the room that had a slight effect on my partner and myself throughout the night. Otherwise, the facilities and conditions were good. The location is nice and quiet and close enough to the city center by vehicle transportation.

Evening dining menu was the only downside- limited menu and pizzas were made from pre-bought bases.

Ample car parking, good location & very clean.
However, we spent 3 nights at hotel and on two nights sleep disturbed by wedding party guests either partying until very late or returning to rooms, banging doors, holding loud conversations outside our bedroom or, on one night, running a bath at 4.30 am.
Wedding guests assemble in the Waves bar and over 300 people were drinking & obstructing the restaurant before going to their wedding breakfast. At 5am the next morning they were still partying!
Even some members of the hotel staff encouraged us to lodge a complaint. I mentioned it as we checked out and was asked if I wanted to speak to the duty manager. However, there there is one all night on duty, who obviously didn't intervene, so we declined!
Other hotels we have stayed in have completely separate areas for wedding parties, so hotel guests are not exposed to all this, but wouldn't visit a Radisson again purely because of this experience. Otherwise a lovely hotel with friendly staff.

Sauna and swimming area was greeat and the view was fantastic.

Property had comfortable beds but curtains were visibly dirty. Rooms were not insulated so you can hear guests in hallway and other rooms. The food at the restaurant was not great but service was good.
