With the exception of a couple of things, everything else went well.

The mirror in the bathroom was very dim and I couldn't see well enough to put on my make up for the event that evening. Also, I had a bad ankle and had to climb all those stairs to my room.

First visit to cape cod
Pros:

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Everyone was friendly. The breakfast was ok, but that was fine, wish they had more bananas and maybe sausage AND eggs instead of one or the other . Bathroom was very clean but rugs a bit dirty, I’m sure they’re in the process of changing. Towels could’ve been thicker. Hotel is located at a great place to allow for easy exploring. Didn’t use the pool but looked very clean and guests we’re using the indoor.
