Drury Inn Stone Oak was a terrible experience from start to finish and completely ruined our vacation. We stayed in San Antonio for four days, and the first two nights at Drury Inn Riverwalk were great, so we expected Drury Inn Stone Oak to meet the same standard. Instead, we were told early check-in would cost $30, but when we arrived, the room was still not ready. That was already bad, but the attitude from the front desk made it worse. The two women working there were rude, unfriendly, and acted like we were bothering them. There was no professionalism, no kindness, and no customer service whatsoever.
The room itself was disgusting. The rug was torn up, the mattress and box spring were dirty and stained, and the entire room felt filthy. I tripped on the damaged rug and hurt my knee, which made the stay even worse. For a hotel carrying the Drury name, this place was a huge disappointment and far below acceptable standards. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend that others avoid Drury Inn Stone Oak entirely.

The clean room and the price.

Enough parking with good light, lobby and breakfast area, easy to get ice and fresh water, certainly the breakfast and the kickback menu are a huge magnet for guests and I understand why: it’s really good for the price.

Location and ease of check in

This hotel has the most authentic friendly staff. Linda was unbelievable friendly at breakfast. She learned our names and took care of us as if we’ve been friends for 20 years.

The staff is friendly. The double queen seemed more spacious than most hotels. Even though San Antonio is humid, you could not tell since the place was not musty and the AC unit in the room worked great.
The hot breakfast was great and the 5:30 drinks and hot food were such a surprise. I was expecting a small snack item but was pleasantly surprised when it was chicken fajita tacos.

My experience at the hotel was really great! I was there on an extended stay and had a wonderful stay here. From the staff to the room, it was really impressive on how every facet of the hotel was exceptional. One night, I had an issue in my room with the sink, and the hotel staff was able to fix the issue and provide some accommodations for the inconvenience. That went a long way!

The drury Inn on the 1604 North Loop in San Antonio was an excellent stay, on arriving the lobby was clean and staff was very welcoming, rooms were cool and clean, the cost to Quality ratio is excellent my spouse and I enjoyed the dining experience dinner drinks and breakfast as we've done over the last 4 years we would not stay anywhere else. I would like to say thanks to all staff for the kindness and courtesy extended.
