Pros:

We paid for parking for both days of our stay and gave the hotel our make, model, and color of our vehicle, and they ended up towing our vehicle when we visited for a World Cup game. They had it towed the first day of our visit and we had to get an Uber to get to the impound yard. The front desk staff and manager were very unhelpful and did not seem to care about us as a customer.

The renovation also seemed to be done very quickly and was poorly done in the room we were staying in.

I accidentally booked the wrong day. The staff helped get me into a room even though it was very busy. It was appreciated

We enjoyed our stay and would definately book here again.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, staff pleasant and facility clean. We liked how it was located right next to where you pick up the streetcar.

Cons:

Wishing that our room was a direct walk to the breakfast area without having to go outside to get there.

The remodeled room was nice and bed was cozy.

Cons:

It was not mentioned that you had to pay $20 a night at check-in to park in the hotel parking lot. The majority of the staff was rude when questions were asked as a tourist; only two were nice and helpful. I was not allowed to pay for items in the convenience store outright; I had to let them charge my room or card. My experience in Kansas City as a whole, starting with the hotel, was unfriendly and unpleasant. I’m not sure if I will return to see any of the wonderful attractions because of this experience.

Pros:

We had a good night’s sleep in a clean room with a hot breakfast before hitting the road. Not much around to eat for dinner.
