Severe ADA Non-Compliance and Booking Breach
Pros:

The women who worked the breakfast area in the mornings.

Cons:

Formal Corporate Complaint: Severe ADA Non-Compliance and Booking Breach – Confirmation #65230
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding a week-long stay at the **TownePlace Suites by Marriott Las Cruces, from which my husband and I checked out on Friday, June 19, 2026.
This stay resulted in a severe violation of promised accommodations, compromised physical safety, and a total failure of standard hospitality practices.
I have Multiple Sclerosis and significant mobility limitations. Because a fully accessible bathroom is a strict medical necessity for me, I booked this stay six months in advance (January 2026) and followed up with a direct phone call to the property. I was explicitly assured by hotel staff that an ADA-accessible room with proper grab bars and a bath seat was secured and guaranteed.
Upon arrival, we were informed that our accessible room was not available. The front desk staff offered no viable solution, suggesting only that we move rooms mid-stay—an impossible task for someone with my physical constraints. As a result, we were forced to spend our first evening traveling to a local CVS to purchase our own shower equipment so that I could safely bathe. The standard room's tub and out-of-reach amenities caused me immense physical anxiety and distress throughout our stay, for which we paid nearly $1,000.
To conclude the experience, the front desk completely ignored us during our Friday morning checkout, offering no acknowledgement or standard departure courtesy.
If needed I can provide:

1. My original booking confirmation and correspondence detailing the explicit request for an ADA room.
2. Our final invoice totaling nearly $1,000 for a room that failed to meet legal and corporate accessibility standards.

Pros:

Brewery walking distance, can have dinner, very clean. Only queen beds are available - might be not enough for 2 people. There is sofa available too, but it is too much work to use it. Otherwise, clean, safe, quite place, nice patio. Even have barbeque place outside, so you can have bbq. Breakfast is good.

Decent Las Cruces property
Pros:

This is a nice property in the area east of I 25 in Las Cruces. I had a studio suite that was plenty spacious. The only minor issues I would mention in terms of potential improvement are that the swimming pool really needed to be cleaned and they needed to fix the jets on the hot tub. That was out of service essentially when I was there.

Also some parts of the property, including the bathroom, seem to be demonstrating more age than what they probably are. Sinks and drains need to be either cleaned or updated.

Breakfast was okay but not great. Interestingly, there was no decaf coffee although I found some later in the lobby area. Why they didn't have any decaf at breakfast was a mystery.

The front desk was very helpful though so overall, I would recommend this property. There are several other spots very nearby to consider however.

Nice Hotel Stay
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, well-maintained and rooms available at reasonable price/Points. While visiting White Sands National Park, we discovered this Marriott property, which is less than an hour's drive away. We booked a two-bedroom suite that included an additional room featuring a kitchen and dining area. As a Lifetime Titanium Elite member, we received complimentary high-speed internet and breakfast (which I believe is complimentary for all guests). The receptionists were very helpful.

The hotel's location is excellent, being conveniently close to restaurants, a gas station, and even a Sam's Club. Overall, we had a 5/5 experience and would surely recommend this Hotel to other travelers.

Poorly designed room
Pros:

Poorly designed room. It looks like they tried to cram as much as possible into the space. Lightening is poor in the room with no lights at the couch. No power at the couch either. TV is very small and the carpet is worn and needs replacement. On the positive the heat works well.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff!
Pros:

This is a nice, fairly basic hotel. ALL of the staff we encountered were extraordinarily friendly and helpful! Our 2-bedroom suite was very clean and well-equipped. The bed was pretty comfortable though some of the pillows were a little lumpy. The bathroom is very small and awkwardly arranged, but perfectly functional. You definitely couldn't have 2 people in front of the sink mirror at once, though the toilet/tub are in a separate small space from the sink with a door in between.

My only real complaint is that the furniture in the living area, while attractive was extremely uncomfortable. Small and very firm. We had to to sit on our bed to watch TV. When my husband sat on the sofa, he looked like he was sitting on toddler-sized furniture - lol.
I liked that the closet had a shelving/drawer unit with a mirror, but would have appreciated a light in there so I could see myself in it.

The breakfast buffet was a little nicer than most - a different hot egg dish each day, and interestingly flavored waffle mix (plain in addition to Maple or cinnamon). Great toppings for the oatmeal bar, and the coffee was good and strong.

So, a few nit-picky criticisms, but overall this is a nice place and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
