No frills but nearly next to the WVU Coliseum with superior morning front desk staff!
Pros:

The property itself is fine. It is what it is, and that’s a place to stay that is close to the WVU Hope Coliseum. I don’t think there is a closer, more accessible spot! We were there specifically for WVU youth sports camps, and I will never stay anywhere else! There is a Sheetz right across the street, and the Coliseum is maybe a bit over .5 miles straight down the road! The breakfast was good, maintained, and convenient including waffles (add some sprinkles for a special touch), sausage, and eggs. The thing that separates this hotel is the front desk staff, particularly James in the morning! He was always friendly, but he went above and beyond to help with an issue I had. I mean, seriously, beyond, beyond!

Cons:

It’s a bit outdated and dank, every single guest seems to smoke (so be prepared to go through a wall of smoke when you walk out the doors), but it was a fine value stay in spite of it!

Comfortable and quiet, great place to stop on a road trip to get some rest and food in the morning to continue your jour
Pros:

Late night check in, helpful staff, clean facility, pet friendly!! Very helpful giving us breakfast snacks and tea/coffee for the road.
