Ugh..awful for a planned getaway, but staff was nice and beds were comfortable.

The staff were great. The beds were comfortable. The location was great.

Cons:

They were doing construction when we arrived, which we didnt know. We had to go out one door and go in another door on the side of the building to get to our room- while having our belongings with 20degrees weather and high winds. . The pool and hot tub were disappointing. They both were the same temperature, and appeared to be dirty. The construction was a mess. The keurig in the room was dirty. The restaurant was only doing take out, and honestly I didnt see any restaurant just a bar in the corner to order. Im sure once the renovations are made, it will be better..but this was awful for my birthday weekend.

USMC 250 Aniversary
Pros:

The best thing about this Hotel is the Staff & their customer service !
They are authentic, and very warm & welcoming.
They recognized we had a special event (the USMC 250th Birthday) from the moment our group
walked in, to the moment we left everything was 5 star service !
We asked for some advice for local restaurants or things to do? They were spot on with their sage, local advice. The Hotel is unique with its accommodating and charming lobby with a fireplace and community table that provides a warm, relaxing atmosphere.
Thank you to Kinga & Maggie the managers. Thank you to Christy the bar manager and great story teller and Tim the MARINE who checked all of us in ano the rest of the staff for all of your hospitality and hometown honesty during our stay.
We shall return !

Not worth it, pick somewhere else
Pros:

I can't tell you. I went for breakfast on both days at 9.50 and then 9.40 and told on both occasions breakfast had already been put away. It is meant to be served until 10am

Pros:
