I loved how clean the room was & how friendly the staff were. Comfortable bed, good breakfast & coffee. Air conditioner was amazing. Like the Lil store as well. Casey's has gas station & pizza next door.
La limpieza . Las cremas , el jabón !! Me siento muy cómoda
No tengo kejas
Coffee was fresh and delicious
Everything was awesome
Being charged twice for same night.
This is a very standard, cookie-cutter Holiday Inn. Rooms are basic, and a bit dated. It's not that convenient to I-90 compared to other hotels in Elkhart (~20 min), but it is only a mile to the 'back road', US-20, to get to South Bend or other nearby towns. There is not really much in the surrounding area, either, in terms of restaurants and the like.
I visited with some friends for a Notre Dame football game. Room rates were about double the normal rates, but I understand this if the hotel provides good rooms. They did not. To have more space, we booked a queen suite. In addition, we saw on their website that on request, for an additional charge, they had rollaway beds. On arrival we were informed that they have NO rollaways, despite the website. The suite had a sleeper/sofa, however this was so old and the mattress so thin it was impossible to sleep on. I tried sleeping on the sofa cushions on the floor which was slightly better than the sofa itself. Plus the 'suite' was so small that with the sofa bed extended we could barely walk around to get to the other beds.
On the plus side, I liked the little lounge area off the lobby. They serve a complimentary breakfast in the morning, too. That is a good touch, although it is nothing fancy. There is a lot of comfy seating here, which was good considering how cramped we were in the room. However paying well over $200 for this is not at all good value. What matters most to me is the sleep and this was the most uncomfortable hotel rooms in which I've stayed in a long time.
I didn’t get my money back
I don’t like it
Nothing the place is absolute dump. It's essentially a motel 6 dressed up to look like a Holiday inn Express
Mold in the bathroom, phone lines were cut, floors were dirty, the box spring cover was all torn, and curtains were missing pieces to blackout the outside. On top of that some rednecks decided to have a tailgate party outside of the room and were extremely noisy. The staff made no effort to shut this down prior to a complaint.
Driving home from Florida and this was the perfect spot to rest. Hardly anyone there. Nice room for kids to enjoy and the pool was warm and delightful.
Nothing
Friendly. Professional staff. Very clean
Pancake machine out of service. We could not figure out how to operate the shower
I was traveling on business in Elkhart with my family. Check in was quick. I was given a great room. It was larger than I expected, and the gentleman Sunil gave us a lot of information for things to do and dining. Will definitely come back very friendly staff.
We had a great stay for a Notre Dame game. about 39 minutes to campus, and a gas station nearby. Other than that very limited in places to dine/ahop, etc. but the hotel offered some snacks and alcoholic beverages for Football Friday, a very friendly gesture! Would stay again!
