According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorization for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorization must be notarized and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarized copies of their IDs.
All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.
In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarized authorization signed by the absent parent, along with a notarized copy of that parent's ID.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Super établissement ! Nous y avons passé une nuit et la qualité de l’établissement était très bien ! La piscine a une vue panoramique sur Salvador très agréable !
Vista lindissima tanto do quarto quanto da piscina. Inicialmente eu estava no 2 andar mas nao estava confortavel e era muito umido, expliquei a situação na recepçã e prontamente me alocaram no 4 andar.
Café da manhã maravilhoso, todo dia tem algo tipico. Para mim, a tapioca feita na hora, o mingau de tapioca e o de milho, croassant quentinho e sucos de frutas da região, junto com o bolo de milho, ganharam meu coração.
Piscina limpa e bom atendimento no bar, vista belissima da cidade.
Voltaria com certeza a me hospedar no Novotel. Vale ressaltar também sua localização no coração do Rio Vermelho - ponto estratégico para os principais passeios, pertinho do Acarajé da Dinha e da Cira, e da Tapiocaria da Miria.

Location and swimming pool view to the city. The security people at the car stop was also amazing.
They need a massive renovation. Lots of things broken and in need of repair. The decor is also very tacky but this is a personal preference.
Atendimento muito cordeal, lugar muito seguro. A vista da piscina é fantástica, vc vê toda a Orla de Salvador.
Quarto sempre limpo e a cama aconchegante.
Como Rio Vermelho é um bairro muito boemio, e o hotel fica no alto de um morro, a música da região dá pra ser ouvida dentro do quarto, mas não me atrapalhou muito. A localização não é na Orla, e sim em um morro, mas eles tem um serviço de transfer pra te levar até a Orla, muito rápido e eficaz.

The rooftop terrace is beautiful, the rooms were newly renovated.
Check-in was insanely slow. It took almost 4 hours to check-in, due to a line and slow processing of guests. A very, very inefficient process. The pool was not maintained well. There was algae growing on the top of the water and sides of the pool surface.
