Paying top dollar for a run down hotel.
Cons:

The elevator was broken, which I’m fairly certain it was a year ago when I last stayed.

Great Whisler Weekend
Pros:

Excellent staff was friendly, responsive, and well informed. We loved the location. It's a pleasant ten minute walk through the village to the gondolas, but you can take the free shuttle if you prefer. There is a grocery store across the street and several great restaurants right in the neighborhood. The room was clean, plenty of towels, comfortable bed, and we utilized the kitchenette for breakfast to save a little money. The pool and hot tub are small but clean and peaceful. Overall we loved staying there.

Cons:

The fold-out couch was uncomfortable, but they did provide a mattress cover, which did help, upon request. When the couch is made into a bed, the room is quite small. One of the two elevators was broken, and the one working was a bit slow. This was not a big deal, but we did experience some long waits.

Good stay, welcoming service but nothing above expectation.
Pros:

Room was spacious and comfortable. Small kitchenette very useful. Location was really good but not directly in the center of the action. Very quiet for a perfect sleep.

Cons:

Shuttle time was not aligned to the ski schedule which close later in spring. Pool and hot tub are quite small but clean. Family oriented so many kids jumping in the pool.

Just a few tweaks and it would be perfect
Pros:

Great ski hotel.

Pleasant staff and great location. Everything is walkable - however, it was just a little too far to the ski lifts in ski boots for me. They have their own free shuttle bus, but I just rented skis from somewhere closer to the lifts, and then changed my boots/shoes there. There is no boot drying room in the hotel, which surprised me. As a European skier, I’m used to these being pretty standard in hotels. Soggy cold boots were a little frustrating each morning.

The rooms themselves are excellent, with lovely toiletries, and everything you could possibly need. Comfortable bed, all very clean, and serviced well each day.
The little kitchen is a great bonus. I made breakfast every morning and then ate out in the evening. There’s a fantastic supermarket directly opposite.

My only issue was noise. I had no issues from outside, but the internal room doors have zero soundproofing so you can hear absolutely everything.

There is no restaurant, but you are spoiled for choice in the town centre. Balam and Araxi were my personal favourites.

Nice place for a ski holiday.
Pros:

Very comfortable, great staff and close to the grocery store and some restaurants and coffee shops. Also close to bus pickup which was nice. Shuttle to the hill when desired for skiers.

Cons:

Would love to be a little more central in the village. It sits at the far end from the ski hill. Shuttle ends early so it’s a decent walk in ski boots at the end of a longer day.

Perfect stay in perfect setting
Pros:

Perfect accomodation in the centre of all the facilities in Whistler Village. Great staff, huge rooms, comfy bed, hot shower/bath and fully set up kitchenette. Easy to get to all the places in the village as well as access to shuttle buses, and adventures suitable for all ages.

Cons:

Could not find fault with this hotel

A fantastic holiday! Improved by the stay!
Pros:

Our stay at Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious, beautifully designed rooms that made it easy to relax after long days on the slopes.

The amenities truly elevated the experience — the hot tub and pool were perfect for unwinding, and the convenient bus service to the slopes made getting around effortless. Having access to a free washer and dryer was also such a thoughtful touch, especially after days filled with snow and adventure.

What really made this stay unforgettable, though, was the incredible staff. Every single team member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.

A very special thank you to Liam and Cerys, who went above and beyond to make our holiday truly special and memorable. Their kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and made all the difference.

Thank you to the entire team — we can’t wait to return!
