Pros:

- Sijainti erinomainen. Ydinkeskustassa vanhan kaupungin vieressä ja kaikki kauppakeskukset lähellä.
- Majoitus oli mukava ja oli hyvä saada oma autopaikka hotellin takapihalta.

Cons:

- Aamiainen oli ylibuukattu. Tilaa oli kahdessa kerroksessa, mutta pöytää jouduttiin pitkään metsästämään.
- Respassa pitkä jono checkin ja checkout aikaan.
- Hissit ylibuukattuja. Tultiin vaunujen kanssa 6 kerroksesta, mutta hissit olivat täynnä joka kerta kun tulivat ylhäältä. Varmaan 20 hissiä ja 15 minuutin kuluttua päästiin alas kahdessa erässä.

Gute Lage des Hotels, wenn man sich keinen Typischen Hotelservice erwartet

Die Lage des Hotels für eine Besichtigung von Tallinn ist optimal

Cons:

Das Hotel erfüllt den Grundservice eines Hotels nicht indem die Zimmer nur jeden 3. Tag (!) hergerichtete werden. Dies wird mit Umweltschutz argumentiert, obwohl ein Herrichten des Zimmers absolut nichts mit Umweltschutz zu tun hat sondern dies rein zu einer Zimmerpreiserhöhung führt. Wenn man öfters als jeden 3. Tag Zimmerservice verlangt wird dafür eine gesonderte Gebühr in Rechnung gestellt (auch wenn der Service dann gar nicht erbracht wird). Handtuchwechsel erfolgt auch nur wenn man täglich danach fragt.

Perfect stay
Pros:

We stayed at Tallink City Hotel for a short city break and it turned out to be a very solid choice. The location is probably the best in town. Just few minutes from old town, the hip shopping and restaurant district Rotermanni quartal and across the street from a shopping mall. Perfect if you want to travel on foot.

The lobby is really spacious. There are enough seating areas to either wait comfortably or just sit with a drink. It never felt overcrowded, even during busier hours.

Dinner at City Grill House was a highlight and worth planning ahead for. If you enjoy grilled food, this place delivers. The kitchen clearly knows how to handle meat properly – the steak was cooked exactly as requested and the sides you can pick yourself, which was nice. We also had the duck salad, which was recommended to us by the waiter and it really delivered - so much flavour in one dish. Oh and the desserts - really enjoyed the fresh and delicate greek yoghurt ice cream with nuts :)

The room was exactly what you want after a long day in the city – clean, quiet, and well thought out, on the smaller side but had a nice touch with the window seats with pillows, which you could sit on and enjoy the city view. Beds were comfy and had no problem with noise from the corridors.
Lovely breakfast with lots of hot and cold options.

If I had to point out one thing: during peak times the hotel gets busy, so planning your restaurant visit slightly earlier is a smart move.

Overall, this is a hotel that delivers on what it promises – good location, good service, and a restaurant that is actually worth visiting :)

Muu henkilöstö etenkin aulabaarin baarimikko epämiellyttävä ja ylimielinen. Henkilöstö edelleen vanhan Venäjän kulttuurin mukainen.
