PEACEFUL
The pools is worn out
Lovely location
Unable to use the spa or eat the Restaurant due to being fully booked! Traveled a long way for a spa weekend which didn’t happen.
Beautiful location, fantastic pool, welcome massage, very present and responsive staff, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast: a perfect combination
That I couldn’t walk to the town. The taxi only takes 5 minutes.
Lovely stay! Great spa, great staff and delicious breakfast!
Very nice location, nice atmosphere, very clean.
Nothing
Very quite and beautiful location
We were chatting in our room and we had the receptionist knock on the door saying the downstairs guests were complaining about noise. We were talking at a normal volume, no music, no shouting, went to bed at reasonable hour. Maybe the walls are thin. When we went to check out the receptionist said the other guest complained that they didn’t sleep all night due to the noise. This was very upsetting to hear as we did not make any specific noise. We were just talking and then slept so how could we have kept them up all night. They were the ones who slammed the main door first thing in the morning which woke us up.
Lovely hotel
The spa
Beautiful location and grounds lovely. Swimming pool great. Food lovely
Path leading to room very unlevel. I have arthritis in my knee and the uneven path caused a lot of pain walking on it
Building, grounds, location, pool and gym, room
Bar was small for the size of hotel
Pleasant facilities, room was nice.
15 year old daughter had to swim with the little kids. They should review their age limit for children.
Paying £20 to use a small pool and swim with little kids. When they said you can use the facilities, they should have made it clear that it will cost extra.
Reception staff could smile once in a while.
The grounds and old Tudor buildings were beautiful. Pub was cosy.
Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious
Facilities were dated and poorly maintained. Could not find a locker in the changing rooms that actually worked.
Breakfast was well overpriced for what it was. The hot breakfast was tepid at best with hash browns that were ice cold.
Good food. Moved to a more accessible room due to my mobility problems.
Too many steps, very difficult for severely disabled and wheelchair users. Bar was very small for size of establishment. My original email of mobility difficulties was not fully addressed but soon rectified on arrival.
Staff and service excellent. Room was lovely. Evening meal in restaurant was very good.
Bar closes early. Hot tub is part of the main swimming pool so water is not warm.
