Lovely location, fantastic building and impressive public areas.
Some odd decorating choices in the rooms.
Restaurant and bar menus not up to the high standard of the hotel.
Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent breakfast
Excellent location
The hotel is lovely, staff welcoming and very attentive. We had one problem in that the heating wasn’t working in our room. After maintenance tried to repair ( within 10 mins of us calling them) we were moved to another room so it didn’t detract from our stay
Tbh Nothing
Location, the architecture, the facilities, the staff.
The restaurant, the chef couldn’t cook a steak. The facilities like the pool and sauna were dated.
I LOVED this hotel. I would say that it KS in my top 1% of hotels. Everything was thought out. The Internet was fast, the spa was clean and good, the stead were absolutely lovely. The room was amazing, the hotel itself is like being at Hogwarts. I would and probably will travel to Tring again, only if to stay at Pendley Manor. Top marks and thank you!!
Nothing negative to say
The food, the surroundings and the wonderful peacocks
Bed was a bit small, room small also and no toilet brush!
we loved the location, room, facilities e.g. swim, sauna, interior. We didnt get a chance to use the gym and game room but they looked great
Nothing major. Observational minor points
check in time 3pm is abit late, but the rooms are kept cleaned and check out was easy so not a big issue. They have enough facilities to lounge and wait for room
Prices food/ drinks price point is fair, but think breakfast buffet maybe on the high side but nothing unreasonable. The bar has snacks which is very convenient
The room was extremely clean and tidy, well proportioned and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet style, which is not my particular favourite as I think the mass offering available can be stood ynder the heat lamps for longer than it should, although you can take as much as you want. However, my preference would be quality over quantity, so a fresh cooked offering is my preference.
Whats not to like !! Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout the stay. My only criticism, and its a small one, is that my room was at the back and beyond. But like I said, a small criticism because it was a lovely room.
We had a Superior Double Room in the original part of the hotel. Magnificent building, impressive staircase, delightful gardens and trees.
Very pleasant large room, two armchairs, views of the garden, refrigerator. Heated towel rail in bathroom, large bath towels, dressing gowns provided.
Beautiful dining room, excellent evening meals
