Nice location, friendly staff
The room I got was very noisy to the point of disrupting sleep due to being near a utility cupboard with loud machinery. Upon me raising this with the staff in situ and following up with an email, I didn't get any reply back.

The room standard and hotel ground is excellent. The staff each time I have stayed have been extremely welcoming and the breakfast was superb.
The pool is great but the sauna area shower needs some attention as a bit too much water stands at your feet. And some tile areas a little loose

Impressive building with a largely lush interior and helpful friendly staff. Food was good as was the service. Room was well equipped with fridge and air conditioning. Excellent pool.
Our room was on the top floor involving a fairly large number of steps. The hotel should alert guests to this before booking. Room was spacious but a little tired with some unpleasant stains on the carpet. Although the pool was excellent the route there is somewhat tortuous.
Spacious rooms and great breakfast
Far too cold in the communal areas, no bathrobes, no fires lit (creates a cosy feeling in an historic building) and no bath, only showers

The dining room menu options was a bit pub like and did not fit the wonderful dining room decor - got an upset stomach from the chicken burger...
Spacious room with big bed, delicious breakfast, nice swimming pool, and sauna. Water and coffee in the room.
No bathrobes in the room or pool area, and the coffee at breakfast was poor.

Staff pleasant and helpful, some stood out, but didn't get their names unfortunately.
Disappointed that we didn't get a spa treatment that we would have liked, and even more disappointing was that they took our number, (after technical difficulties) and after numerous enquires by us, still didn't bother to let us know!! Obviously didn't want our business. Would have been nice to know either way so that we could plan our day!! And we were at the hotel for 3 nights so had plenty of opportunity.
Beautiful location and grounds
Dated, bathrooms need renovation. Had dirty towels with make up left in my room. Price is too high for what you get. Breakfast needs improvement
