Ok rooms could do with a bit of maintenance and up keep and toilet had poo on it upon arrival

Location was good did the event we attended

Cons:

Receptionist was not very friendly although another make member of staff around he didn’t help check a queue of guests in. Female receptionist didn’t make eye contact didn’t smile and seemed robotic.

Rude receptionist, paid for breakfast and staff said we haven’t, I had to check booking details and show staff as it wasn’t down on your system. Room was dark and dusty, definitely not worth the money we paid. £160.00

Pros:

hotel was clean and modern. beautiful bar and restaurant area. staff in those areas were polite and helpful. bar was open 24hrs which was great for us.
food in the restaurant was lovely with a good menu to chose from.

Cons:

lady on reception was rude consistently to us and other guests. given she is the first person you meet, she gives the business a bad taste. she is enough to make me look elsewhere if I ever needed that location again.

Needs Investment
Pros:

Distinctly average. Where to start? Good location? Yes. Good parking? Yes. Contrary to some feedback I had a great experience with a gentleman on the front desk who was much more positive and useful than prior experiences I've had with a miserable lady.

Rooms need more than a refresh. Plugs nowhere near beds. Carpets threadbare. Mattresses are awful I've slept on better floors, they reply here saying it's personal preference but believe me I've stopped here enough, they're all the same. Overdue investment.

The food is pricey and not worth the amount on the menu. Had onion rings as an additional side several times and they're always soggy and sweating in oil. Breakfast is fine and does the job. One of the better hotel breakfasts.

Tesla supercharger handy nextdoor too.

It could be great it just needs some love and the staff need some of that love too.

Cons:

Booked 2 rooms and was charged twice one from my original booking then again at the reception when I made a dispute to get the money back from the hotel they refused stating I used the room even though I had no other option so 3 of us had to cram in the room with one person having to sleep on the floor terrible service
