Whenever I am in the Chicago area I stay here. Staff is exceptional and accommodating. Facilities are always clean and updated. Location is excellent. See the same friendly faces each time. Ryan, F&B Director always greets with a smile and his staff, excellent.
First day I was out 8am to 1pm. My expectations were that room will be cleaned and towels replaced, but not.
Quite and very clean
No complaints
Room was spacious and clean.
I thought it was very odd when the hotel had a daily parking fee with the hotel location in a quiet suburb with a large parking lot. There are other options for hotels same location who don’t charge. I will not book again due to that extra fee. Other than that, fine hotel.
The on-site restaurant, coffee shop, and bar were great amenities to have on site.
Everything was great.
This is a Fairfield inn masquerading as a Marriott. I seldom write negative reviews but this property is definitely below the standard that I expect at a full service hotel. As an ambassador I was given lounge access. Breakfast offerings in the lounge were identical to Fairfield breakfast except that you had real plates and silverware. No coffee machine in the lounge so you can not have a latte or cappuccino or even hot chocolate. I was not given the option of a complimentary breakfast in the restaurant even though I asked. Fitness center had no weight machines just free weights and very few cardio machines just like a Fairfield. Lounge attendant and front desk person were friendly and efficient but they both had heavy accents and were difficult to understand. I did not have the opportunity to sample the evening hours deurves but I doubt that I missed much.
As an ambassador, I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which had plenty of charging outlets and a comfortable bed but the renovated bathroom was tiny. The thermostat was set to 65 degrees and when I came in from the 17 degree winter weather I was freezing. I reset the set point and the room warmed up within half an hr. No welcome amenity.
It was clean and liked the location.
Wish the bathroom was a bit bigger and that there was room service for dining. Also highly disliked that we had to pay for parking and WiFi. Paying for WiFi at a hotel seems ridiculous and outdated. And we were charged for a daily breakfast package which I did not want and was not clear in the reservation.
Rooms are clean but old. Needs a remodel.
Clean room and staff.
I needed to get away for my Birthday! But, did not want to travel far nor fly. This was the best staycation ever!
The hotel service from the front desk, restaurant, Starbucks to the housekeeping exceeded my expectation. They were all outstanding! Superior service! I got the feeling they were all here to serve and make my stay amazing unforgetable.
The bed in the hotel room was fit for a queen's palace ( very comfortable). The walking area around the pond with birds, trees and geese was just the natural touch of nature I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Chicago.
I felt very safe as a single female traveling alone.
The nearby shopping areas, Kohler Water spa and resturants such as Capri made this moment the absolutely best Staycation ever!. I feel rechareged and refueled to return to Chicago and go to work on my actual birthday :-) which is Monday.
Outside space
Not provided because we booked through 3rd party. Bathroom shower leaked unto floor. Told the staff about it. Daily price change for room is hidden caused confusion. Marriott Bonvoy member- had major problem understanding the rep we had to deal with due to website issues. This has happened several times now and we will look for a better value in hotel selection..
Liked location.
Great experience, definitely try again
