立地で選ばれるホテル

夜にチェックインしましたが、フロントスタッフはお一人だけなのでしょうか。さすがに少なすぎると感じました。

到着時、スタッフの方は電話対応中。こちらがカウンターの前にいても特に声掛けや目配せもなく、そのままずっと待つことに。私たち家族を含め、最終的には4組ほどが待っていました。移動で疲れ切った中で、この待ち時間はなかなかしんどかったです。

素泊まりで予約していたため、翌朝の朝食を追加したい旨を伝えると、子どもの年齢を聞かれ「6歳です」と答えたところ、「一人2,000円です」とのこと。

「6歳でも大人と同じ料金ですか？」と確認すると、「んー、まあ大丈夫です」という、よく分からない返答。そのまま会計に進み、結局しっかり子どもを含め人数分×2,000円を支払いました。

後から「“大丈夫です”って何が大丈夫だったんだろう？」と家族で話しました（笑）。同額なら同額で、そう説明していただければ何の問題もないのですが……。

また、館内の自動販売機が新紙幣・新500円硬貨に対応していません。今となっては旧紙幣を持っている人の方が珍しいのでは……。結局、両替してもらうために、また一人体制のフロントの列へ並ぶことになりました。

さらに困ったのが館内案内。テレビにも印刷物にも見当たらず、結局スマホでホテルの公式サイトを見ながら情報収集しました。フロントへの電話が多かったのも、みんな館内のことが分からなくて問い合わせているのかな……と、妙に納得してしまいました。

一方、客室のシャワーヘッドはReFa。

今回は匂いが少し気になったため、近くの「ゆうゆう会館」へ行き、結局使いませんでしたが、「そこにはお金をかけるのか……」というのが正直な感想です。

高価な設備を入れることもサービスの一つだとは思います。ただ、その前にフロントの人員体制、館内案内、自販機など、宿泊客が実際に困る部分を整えていただけたらと思いました。

立地は良かったです。

Pros:

場所がよかった。駅からすぐでコンビニやショッピングモールも近かった。
朝食も美味しかった。

Cons:

部屋が汚い。建物が古いぶん細かいところは仕方ないにしても、トイレが汚れてたり清掃が雑。

快適でした。
Pros:

宿泊費に対する宿泊設備が良かった。

Cons:

部屋の灯具を消すと真っ暗になり、手洗いに行く時に足元が不安である。ナイトライトがあれば良かった。
