Chauncey Hotel & Conference Center

One day, the room was completely unkempt.

The bar and breakfast were fine. The room had numerous spiders in the living area and bathroom
There was loud music on both nights til 10pm that could be heard quite clearly in our room.

Our issues were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for friendly service or a pleasant stay. The customer service was very disappointing.

The front desk closed the restaurant 30 minutes before the posted hours because of a wedding, and when I called to see if the kitchen could still prepare something (well within their normal service time), the front desk lady was rude and dismissive. She said she “couldn’t communicate with them” — no effort to help, no alternative offered.

The next morning, I asked if I could check out just 15 minutes late, and again the same front desk staff member was rude. Not even because she said no, but because of her tone and body language — unprofessional and unwelcoming.

On top of that, the rooms smell old and humid, which makes the overall experience even worse. Definitely not a good place to stay if you want somewhere comfortable with friendly people.

Beautiful property, well kept and clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was delicious. I will stay again whenever in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Chauncey Hotel which is located on a quiet beautiful property. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was absolutely excellent. We also found the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dated rooms. Not any better than a days inn. Reception was never there and had to wait a long time for anyone to come check us in or out. Rooms were meh and cleaned ok but again, not anything better than a cheap motel. Disappointed

Excelente solo que me cobraron 50 dólares adicionales y ya se había pagado todo por expedya ,cuentan con desayuno y es fantástico hay un amable atención un señor Luis cocina delicioso y tiene una linda energía

The breakfast was very good. Beds were fairly smaller than I thought for double beds. Internet access was great.

Very old conference center. It has the old musty smell. Carpets are old and stained. Wood flooringin the hallway cracks.
Towels, sheets, bed are all nice
Breakfast buffet was nice.
The conference grounds are nice and relaxing. Princeton shopping is nearby.

Must be able to carry luggage down a flight of stairs to gain entry. No handicap access

Clean and comfortable facilities and room.

Our check-in process was uncomfortable, as the supervisor on duty was embarrassing the receptionist who checked us in. I did not notify the receptionist that we brought our fur baby so we were booked on the wrong floor, easy fix, my mistake. The supervisor ushered us back to the front desk and stood over the poor receptionist as she changed our room. I asked her why she was being rude to her and standing over her shoulder, I'm sure she was more than able to change the room appropriately. she replied, "I'm her supervisor and I want to ensure she does it right". The receptionist did not seem new, and she checked us in perfectly with no issues. The supervisor was not friendly to us, I can only imagine how she behaves when guests are not around.

Great rooms, perfekt location, nice and quiet, staff was very friendly and a Very good breakfast.

Tranquil and comfortable. The hot buffet breakfast had good selections. Very enjoyable.
