Camps Bay Retreat Hotel

It felt like I was entering my own home. Foxy the hotel dog was very pleasant and we played with her the whole time. The managers especially Damien and Sibo were very welcoming. The garden tour by Brendan is a must, and we enjoyed the cheese and fruits harvested in the garden. The waterfall and seatings with swings were magnificent.

Great!!! Hotel. location is a perfect blend of mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating combined with service. The Spa is a must!!

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautiful gardens, peaceful walking trails, and an excellent location close to the ocean. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, and always happy to help. Housekeeping was excellent, and breakfast offered a great variety of fresh, delicious food. A special thank you to Chef Slater Rasool, who prepared one of the best meals we had during our trip. The lamb shank, cauliflower soup, and risotto were all exceptional. His talent, kindness, and hospitality made our stay even more memorable.

Very very nice hotel or retreat I should say.
Location is one of the best in Capetown.
Very nice rooms, I have tried two types.
The spa is an exceptional experience.

We loved our stay here. The grounds were fantastically large and pleasurable for our lively 7 year old - this is very hard to find in central CT and the Atlantic Seaboard. We loved the hanging bridge over the ravine. The gardens have a gate onto the main Camps Bay drag and the restaurants are walking distance. The room was spacious and the wood-fired hot tub was good fun. The kitchen of Bella Restaurant makes lovely fresh tasty food, and it was convenient to have in-house dining, especially with a young child. The room was warm and comfortable; the main building is a beauty from the 1920s or 30s. It is not a perfect generic experience, as you may find in some big branded hotel. It is characterful and enjoyable and peaceful and very unusual for a central CT location. The service, albeit friendly, is occasionally not as efficient as it could be but the warm welcome makes up for that. Our go-to in CT in future. (They even had a charger on the grounds for our electric vehicle!)

Wir waren jetzt schon zum vierten Mal im Camps Bay Retreat und sind immer nochmal begeistert. Man hat den Eindruck dass nochmals eine Steigerung zu früher erfolgt ist. Hier gibt es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

The main building is an interesting historical building that has been well-maintained with lairs of character. The rest of the facility is modern, so you get the best of both.
